Today, Antonio Pachon is a highly-paid mobile application developer in Dublin. He took a long and arduous route, however, to get where is.
You don’t have to.
Pachon has developed an on-line course that can teach anyone how to become a mobile app contractor. No experience necessary. The average daily rate for an experienced mobile app contactor is more than $600 a day.

“When I first started in the IT world, I wished someone had shown me how to build apps and become a mobile developer,” he says. “I wasted so much time learning on my own and made so many mistakes and failed in so many interviews. No one should have to go through that.”
Pachon’s on-line course is a shortcut through his own personal experience. “I went from having no idea about apps at all to becoming a mobile expert,” he says.
The course includes an overview of existing jobs (like iOS or Android developers), resume preparation, how to create a portfolio, a self-evaluation guide, technical support resources and more. It also provides tips about the contracting world, how to find the best rates and contacting recruiters.
“I can teach you how to structure an app by using work management tools and agile practices, such as Scrum, JIRA, Trello and Slack,” says Pachon. “The course will not only be focused on how to obtain the job, it will also teach you about how to work in a team of developers, agile team practices, collaborative tools and repositories.”
The course has not yet been finalized; Pachon needs $2,974 (about 2,000 pounds) for technical work and video editing. In order to raise this start-up capital, he has launched a Kickstarter campaign, which can be viewed at:
So far, about half of that total has been raised.
Donations of any amount are welcome. For a contribution of $22, backers will receive lifetime access to the on-line course. A pledge of $51 is good for lifetime access to the on-line course plus an Android Studio development course that teaches how to build apps.
Fop $370, you can get access to both on-line courses, personal orientation for your own projects and six hours of technical support to assist in the development of your own idea.
“There is a huge demand for jobs in the mobile technologies world,” notes Pachon. “There are more companies looking for developers than there are developers available. With the help of this course, you can be on your way to getting a high-paying technical job.”
