The process to use wRipple is quite simple. When checking out a wRipple accessible store, the cashier will ask if the user would like to use the wRipple app, and then the store and users’ app will sync and the user will receive a discount. In return, this allows the store to post a one-time message to the user’s social media accounts. That offers a time-limited discount that the user’s friends can use and share. All they have to do is sign-up for wRipple and they’ll start saving immediately. However, in order to get this app on everyone’s phone, wRipple needs help. That’s why they launched this campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $500,000 by August 1, 2015. The funds raised will go toward things like hiring more sales staff and marketing.
