The Flying Tigers Heritage Park Announces Amazing Hump Flight Re-enactment

A re-enactment/documentary honoring CBI pilots who flew the Himalayas to help win WWII

INDIA, Asia – July 14, 2015 – The Flying Tiger Historical Organization would like to re-enact and document the “Hump” flights. This legendary flight would begin in India, over the Himalayan Mountains, ending at The Flying Tigers Heritage Park in Guilin, China. These flights helped America and the Chinese defeat Japanese Imperialism. They will fly a C 47 named Buzz Buggy, which will be repainted, for this re-enactment. Be part of this historic endeavor and sponsor the documentary of the flight.

The re-enactment flight will also honor the brave men and women involved.  This documentary will educate and preserve for history the amazing story that is the CBI theater of WWII while reminding people what they can accomplish through cooperation and friendship. However, before this documentary can be made, the Flying Tiger Historical Organization needs help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter. The goal of this project is to raise $200,000 by August 9, 2015 and the funds raised will go toward repainting  Buzz Buggy and help to document this amazing event.

To help bring this re-enactment and film to life, please visit the Kickstarter campaign or click here. Perks will be delivered between December 2015 and December 2016.

Please keep in mind this is an “all-or-nothing” deal, which means if the campaign does not reach the funding goal then the project cannot move forward. So know that any amount given can make a difference, and this is an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special campaign! Help The Flying Tigers Heritage Park reach the goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this, the more support the campaign will receive.
