Breast Cancer Reconstruction Advocate Launches IndieGoGo Campaign for Microdermal Nipple Procedures

Eric Catalano has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise funds to allow him to perform microdermal nipple reconstruction procedures on those suffering from breast cancer.

Eric Catalano, owner of several St. Louis tattoo shops, has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise funds to help those who have experienced breast cancer enjoy the benefits of microdermal nipple reconstruction.  This campaign will raise funds to pay for the procedure, which involves an implant and tattooing procedure that recreates the appearance of a true nipple for those who have endured a mastectomy and breast reconstruction.  This allows breast cancer survivors to have the appearance of a normal breast, something that is very important for those who have lived through this experience.

In addition to paying for these procedures, the sponsor is also collecting money to train a new and expanding team of experts who will be able to perform the procedure around the world.  Not only will funds be used to help men and women afford this costly procedure, but additional money can be used to ensure that there is ongoing training for those who want to learn how to perform it.  With funds raised from the campaign, millions of men and women will have access to this procedure.

The IndieGoGo campaign, located on the web at, does not offer perks and pledge levels.  Instead, those who wish to contribute can do so in any amount they choose. In this way, everyone can have a part in bringing this life-changing procedure to those around the world who will benefit from it.
