Notes For Life Arts & Technology Program “NFLATE’s” Los Angeles with Weekend Kickoff

LOS ANGELES, CA – Oct 05, 2015 – Notes For Life Los Angeles has announced its upcoming interactive experience, NFLATE (Notes For Life Arts & Technology Experience).  The free arts and technology course, which has partnered with Microsoft, will be kicking off its academic year with demonstrations at the Microsoft Store located in the Century City Westfield shopping center from 12-3pm, Saturday, October 10th.  NFLATE’s workshop will give students interested in the arts and technology a glimpse into the free 26-week academic program that officially begins classes October 20th.  Families will be able to interact with some of the hottest DJs, up and coming musical artists, celebrities and professionals in the music industry at the experience.  High school students will be able to signup for enrollment in the program as well.

“We are excited to be bringing Notes For Life to Los Angeles,” says two-time Grammy Nominated songwriter and Notes For Life LA Managing Director, Carla Carter, who has worked with the likes of Usher, Janet Jackson, Beyonce and Keyshia Cole to name a few.  “This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for students to get an all-access pass into the music industry for free.  They will be writing, producing and recording with professionals who are working in the industry daily.”

Carla Carter and two-time Grammy Nominated songwriter/producer Drew “Druski” Scott (Zendaya, Tori Kelly, Fantasia, Teyana Taylor, Dawn Richard) serve as the directors of the Los Angeles’ division of the program.  Combining their knowledge with the Notes For Life instructors throughout the country, Notes For Life has over 80 years of experience in the music and technology business.  From DJs to producers to songwriters to publicists, Notes For Life offers one of the largest combined fields of professionals teaming together to teach tomorrow’s leaders.

“You can take a talent you have, make it work and give that gift to others,” says Notes For Life Executive Director, Ronnie Notch.  “You can’t have an evolution in music without an evolution in technology.”

NFLATE takes place Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 12:00pm-3:00pm at the Microsoft Store at the Westfield Shopping center (10250 Santa Monica Blvd. #616, Los Angeles, CA 90067).  Refreshments, artists’ meet and greets, enrollment and a special raffle will take place as well as demonstrations with some of LA’s hottest DJ’s.
