FilmPistol Productions Announces New Film “Luv & Perversity in the East Village”

A woman on the verge, with a group of lost souls, uncovers the profound in the profane

MANHATTAN, New York – October 7, 2015 – FilmPistol Productions recently announced their incredible, new film, “Luv & Perversity in the East Village.” The movie was written by FilmPistol’s founder Amber Dixon Brenner, and she believes this movie can truly save lives. Amber hunkered down to write “Luv & Perversity in the East Village” in the Summer of 2012 after a trip to Manhattan where she met characters who would inspire the story. But in the writing process, the conflicts in her own life and childhood would come painfully into light. While the script varies from Amber’s life experiences, it makes painstaking efforts to shine light upon the often tell-tale signs of pathology.

“Luv & Perversity in the East Village,” follows the story of a woman on the verge who risks everything in search of an awakening. Spanning 24 hours, viewers will travel with Isabella into a modern day Bohemia, where lovers, friends, and her mentor (a famous director) will collide at a party in the East Village. However, before this amazing film can be made, FilmPistol Productions needs help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $500,000 by November 1, 2015. The funds raised will go towards hiring a line producer, a unit production manager, and crew. It will also go towards visual effects, locations, promotion, marketing, and distribution.

To help bring this incredible moving film to life, please visit the Kickstarter campaign or click here. Perks will be delivered between May 2016 and October 2016.

Please keep in mind this is an “all-or-nothing” deal, which means if the campaign does not reach the funding goal then the project cannot move forward. So know that any amount given can make a difference, and this is an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special campaign! Help FilmPistol Productions reach the goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this, the more support the campaign will receive.
