Acumenio Offers Free IT Training Classes to Homeless Men across the Globe

Acumenio (, an African American owned Coding Bootcamp & IT Training Company is offering their career readiness Bootcamps & IT Training programs free of charge of Homeless Men & Women. Acumenio is partnering with over 4000 shelters and churches across North America to identify promising candidates and ensure they have the resources and support they need to be successful.

The classes which are normally $75 and the Bootcamps which can run upwards of $8,500 are completely free and designed to help the economically disadvantaged and veterans seek out, obtain and thrive in IT jobs.

“As a minority owned and founded business, our mission is to equip the under-represented masses with the skills needed to pursue better job opportunities. Many people like to distance themselves from the homeless and economically disadvantaged, but we’re all in this together and need to do what we can to support each other,” said Rex Foster, lead instructor and program director.

A list of participating shelters and churches can be found at or interested individuals can e-mail for more information.
