AjarTech Announces Project to Bring Compressed Earth Brick Presses to the Masses

Professional-grade open-source plans to build your own brick press

CHICAGO, Illinois – October 26, 2015 – AjarTech is an open source social and procedural company that aims to connect people to capital and resources using their extensive open-source network to bring open source projects to fruition. While working with Open Source Ecology (OSE), AjarTech discovered that the OSE community wished that more was being done on all of the Global Village Construction Set (GVCS) machines. AjarTech loves to get things started, so they knew they could get involved in addressing the community’s wants and needs by tackling some of these projects and taking them to completion. Since then, they’ve come up with a campaign to get professional-grade CAD designs completed for all 50 machines. They’re incredible—and the work is almost done. Most recently, they announced a project to bring the Compressed Earth Brick Presses (CEBs) to the masses as they should be—via open source! The Liberator CEB allows people to take clay and dirt dug for foundation and compress it into bricks for a house, a factory, or a wall.

But, AjarTech needs support to take the existing CAD designs for The Liberator Compressed Earth Brick Press, and make them into a single document that anyone can download, modify, and go to a hardware store and buy the parts for. They’re working with a CAD firm, a local Chicago design group, to make sure that the designs are professional, functional, and immediately useful to anyone. However, before they can take the CEB and make them into a single downloadable document, AjarTech needs help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign, which was recently selected as a STAFF PICK. The goal of this project is to raise $20,000 by November 18, 2015. The funds raised will help develop the CAD files for the CEB in the CAD program.

To help bring this innovative idea to life, please visit the Kickstarter campaign or click here. Perks will be delivered between November 2015 and July 2016.

Please keep in mind this is an “all-or-nothing” deal, which means if the campaign does not reach the funding goal then the project cannot move forward. So know that any amount given can make a difference, and this is an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special campaign! Help AjarTech reach the goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this, the more support the campaign will receive.
