1. I’m interested in owning my own ARKAY® Social Cafe. How do I get started?

We’d love to have you join our team! Joining the ArKay® team gives you the great opportunity to own your own business – but not just any business: an established global brand with a proven operating system already in place.

2. How much is the franchisee fee?

There is no franchise fee to open an ArKay Social cafe or ArKay Depot, ArKay is the best alternative to franchise.

3. How much will it cost to open my ARKAY ®Social Cafe?

The total investment is an estimated $25,000 to $100,000 depending on the size and location of the business.

4. How much are the royalty and advertising fees?

There is no royalty or advertising fee.

5. Is financing available?

We offer an equipment leasing program and also work with companies that help secure financing for new affiliates.

6. Will there be training and support?

Of course; all of our new affiliates attend a one week training course at our World Headquarters, or one of our many training centers around the world. Once training is complete, on-going support comes in many forms, including local development offices, e-learning training courses, a weekly newsletter and much more.

7. How do I find a perfect location?

Once you are an affiliate, our Site Selection team will educate you on the site selection process and how to find locations. Your local Development Agent will make a recommendation on whether a location should be approved or not, and with the assistance of the Field Representative and home office Leasing Department, you will negotiate the economics of the lease with the landlord. Our objective will always be to secure the best possible location for a reasonable rent.

8. Who will build my location?

While you will work with a local contractor that you hire, our Store Design team will provide detailed blueprints that not only meet our specifications, but provides you with a beautiful and functional Arkay Depot or Arkay Social Cafe.

9. I am eager to get started. How long does the opening process typically take?

While every case is different, the typical length of time between the time you sign the Affiliate Agreement, we approve your location, and you open your business, is between 2 and 12 months.

10. Where do I order my food and drinks from?

ArKay distributing in the USA and Canada and ArKay Distribution in Europe will be your vendors.

11. What is an Affiliate Disclosure Document and how do I obtain the document?

The Affiliate Disclosure Document (ADD) will describe in detail how the ArKay® affiliate relationship operates and will specify how the company is organized. It will also contain affiliate contact information so that you can contact our owners to get the information needed for your research.

12. What is a Development Agent?

Development Agents are affiliates brokers assigned to geographical areas. They oversee affiliate sales, site selection, training and operational assistance for affiliate. Development Agents also make recommendations as to whether a prospective franchisee in their territory should be granted an affiliate.

13. Are there any opportunities in my area?

As we continue our expansion, there are always new opportunities. Completing an Application for Additional Information is the first step in the process in learning about these new opportunities.
