DELRAY BEACH, FL – As you’re “sun-ning” on the postcard-perfect sand of Delray Beach’s breathtaking surf and palm vistas, The First Presbyterian Church’s steeple is the initial charm of what’s behind you.

Renowned as the “Village by the Sea,” Delray Beach has won the ALL AMERICAN CITY AWARD twice (2001, 1993) – and was named the MOST FUN SMALL TOWN IN AMERICA (2012).

For 90 years, people have come from all over the world seeking marriage, tranquility and renewal – welcomed and graced by The First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach.

When you walk into the church’s sanctuary, wedding services are drenched in warming light from a 60 foot floor-to-rooftop stained glass panel – with 47 stained glass windows hugging the pews at the ceiling.

The magnificent stained glass windows are hand-chipped for maximum refraction, as they were in 1898 when Willet Hauser Studios was founded in Philadelphia.  Willet has also designed over 15,000 similar, remarkable buildings throughout the world.

On wedding days, the historic Fellowship Hall “houses” the wedding party in preparation for walking down the aisle.

Award-winning catering services and reception facilities are within minutes of a walk to hotels and restaurants, voted as the Best Main Street in Florida.

One of the many unique features of the church’s extraordinary services is that only one wedding per day is scheduled – ensuring that the church’s dedicated wedding support team makes the wedding day magical while the campus is secure and without distractions.

Simple to elegant ceremonies are performed by our pastors in the church and on the beach with the picturesque waters of the Atlantic Ocean as the backdrop for sunset weddings.
