Revolutionary Hybrid Gaming Controller To Render Keyboard Play Obsolete

A customizable, open source controller that will change PC gameplay.

Hallowell, Maine, United States – June 3, 2016 – Edward Larkin, product designer, is making gaming history with the launch of the FPS Hyper-Drive Controller. It’s the first ever open source, programmable joystick/steering wheel hybrid custom controller that will eliminate the keyboard.  A Kickstarter campaign was created to raise $750,000 by June 16, 2016.The creator has committed to manufacturing the device within the United States and not China. To do so, he needs the help of the community. Costs for local production are extremely expensive.  Funds raised will be used to produce molds made with hardened steel, completed hardware design, and custom software for the “Graphical User Interface.”

Edwardhas been designing products for over 35 years.A product the gaming public may know him for The Mouse Bungee. It has been sold to gamers all over the world. The product was even sold on QVC, the world’s most successful TV shopping network. Now, he’s ready to make history again with the FPS Hyper-Drive Controller.

FPS (First Person Shooter) PC gaming has always used a keyboard, which is stone age technology. Executing commands by pressing keyboard keys is archaic, awkward, and not particularly fun. Eliminating the keyboard from gameplay has been a goal of Edward’s for years. The solution is replacing the keys with an open source programmable joystick/steering wheel hybrid custom controller. This will also allow Mac and Linux gamers to play games using the FPS Hyper-Drive Controller instead of their keyboards.
