Xchange Post Launching In Charlotte For Rental Needs

Party Rentals and Tool Rentals are Available

November 21, 2016Xchange Post is launching as a new community rental website. Based out of Charlotte,  Xchange Post is a veteran-owned site where people can conveniently post their items available for rent.

One of the first websites to embrace social renting, Xchange Post enables users to post details on all sorts of items for rent in their community. This includes items for parties, tools for large home projects and even storage and heavy equipment items. The site helps the user navigate by dividing items for rent by category.

Each listing has information on costs to rent, rental term, pictures and item location. Users are able to post videos and other links if available. Customers can easily get in touch with the renter to handle the renting process through a variety of means.

The site offers benefits to many different types of consumers. It is designed as a place for event planning professionals to visit when acquiring what they need to for events, for contractors working on projects to rent tools and equipment, you can even rent a limo for a special night out.

The site was founded by John T. Alexander III, a US Navy officer, and VMI graduate in Economics and Business. A native of Charlotte, Alexander uses the skills he learned as an officer and is applying them to his business.

Alexander formed the site as a means of connecting others to the modern social sharing economy. He  stated, “This will be the next big idea in the sharing economy, and I want to be a part of it.” His goal  is to make it easier for people to access tools and other items they need without having to spend nearly as much money as traditionally required.

The site currently has more than 300 items listed in the Charlotte area. It is expanding to go national and link to more parties in the future.

Xchange Post is holding a launch party at HQ Charlotte at Packard Place on December 3 at 6:30 pm. HQ Charlotte is a place that supports entrepreneurs in the Charlotte area and provides people with access to many spots for development and production. It is located in Uptown Charlotte and focuses on improving how small businesses are formed in the region.
