Grand Lens Photography is giving away one free wedding photography package per month in 2017! Erin Bhoorasingh’s success, a true American Dream story, was partially built on the kindness of others. In 2017, Erin has decided to give back by launching the ‘Free Means Free’ wedding campaign. Couples will be provided one photographer, retouching, and high-resolution digital copies of their special day, completely free. Winners will be chosen from various wedding expos Grand Lens Photography will be attending throughout 2017.
Erin Bhoorasingh is the daughter of two immigrants from Jamaica, Howard Bhoorasingh and Angela Bhoorasingh. Born and raised in St. Albans, Queens, Erin was captivated by the sound of a shutter. She developed her passion for photography at an early age. She was taking “selfies” before they became a trend. While other children were at the playground, Erin was busy taking close-up pictures of her parents and wasting countless rolls of film. Hours of infatuation turned into days, days into months, and months into years.
After high school, Erin spent the next decade bouncing between jobs and college, all the while knowing photography was her passion. So, she began monetizing her passion by shooting events for family and friends using a $250 camera she received as a gift. She had become a photographer without even realizing it! Erin’s first paid event was a wedding, some of the pictures may still be seen on her website: www.GrandLensPhotography.com. From there, word began to spread like wildfire. Subsequent jobs came in by referral. In January 2016, Erin officially founded Grand Lens Photography, LLC, in Bronx, NY.
Per Erin Bhoorasingh, “The American Dream is still alive, just waiting for each of us to go out and make it a reality.” Just one year after Erin made her dream a reality, Grand Lens Photography has now serviced over 100 clients ranging from corporate executives to newlyweds. Erin has turned Grand Lens Photography into a profitable endeavor while reinvesting revenues into $20,000 worth of equipment. Erin is proud to say that not only is Grand Lens Photography profitable, but it is completely debt-free. As a token of her appreciation toward the country that has given her family so much opportunity, Erin is giving back in 2017. Grand Lens Photography is proud to announce the ‘Free Means Free’ wedding campaign!
