BROOKLYN, NY – 9 Mar, 2017 – BYKlyn Indoor Cycling Studio will partner with PowerPlay NYC during the month of March. BYKlyn will host a free cycling class for girls in the PowerPlay program this Saturday, March 11 at 1:45pm. In addition, BYKlyn will host 2 community rides on March 11th and March 25th at 2:45pm. Community rides are all-donation charity rides open to all. 100% of proceeds will go to PowerPlay NYC. The partnership will bring awareness to PowerPlay’s work to empower young women and girls through sports and fitness.

PowerPlay is a not-for-profit organization that advances the lives of girls in New York City, helping them grow physically, emotionally and academically. PowerPlay creates opportunities for girls ages 6 through 21 by partnering with schools and CBOs in NYC to conduct after-school and summer programs that emphasize physical fitness and education. BYKlyn is Brooklyn’s own indoor cycling and fitness studio located on Flatbush Ave in Park Slope, Brooklyn. They offer group indoor cycling classes for all levels — newbies to competitive triathletes. Part of BYKlyn’s mission is to support people and charities doing great things in Brooklyn and beyond. BYKlyn has raised over $5000 for charities since 2015.
