In Spring 2017, Professor Kung Pengcheng is independently planning and organising the World Chinese Culture Convention. Although bringing together more than 30 countries, 180 scholars, this is just a warm up for next year’s event when 1,800 delegates will attend a large scale convention.
For Kung Pengcheng however, this impressive feat is barely worth mentioning. This most distinguished and renowned scholar of modern China with boundless energy and limitless creativity is always breaking his own records.
Kung Pengcheng, is likely one of today’s busiest scholars, hurrying around promoting traditional culture, he is constantly on the move. At the same time he is one of the most prolific authors of modern times, making a living from his pen, with a scarcely believable output of over 130 published works to his name. His areas of interest are extremely broad, ranging across the humanities and social sciences, and writes first-class pieces in every field he touches.
