Mr. Dykes considers his literary efforts as one of his greatest achievements, as, while he was growing up, he had no access to any kind of resources pertaining to investments, trading, funds, credit, and retirement account options. While serving as a Logistics Specialist in the US Navy Mr. Dykes’ determination to expand his knowledge in these areas that led him to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Master’s in Business Administration, Series 65, Series 63, Insurance licenses and Certified Financial Educator licenses which laid the foundations for his illustrious career in finance.
After becoming an Investment Advisor Representative and Securities Agent by North American Securities Administrators Association, Mr. Dykes felt he had an obligation to introduce his son, Wesley, to the fundamental concepts of investing and sound financial management. Understanding that all children belonging to Wesley’s age group, and beyond, would greatly benefit from access to the same resources that were available to his son, Mr. Dykes launched the Wesley Learns brand, which includes, in addition to kid-friendly books, cartoons, dedicated internet platforms and apparel, which aim to foster a culture of financial empowerment through active research and learning.
Mr. Dykes will announce any future signing events via further communications with the press, while he has expressed his earnest interest in potential collaborations with community leaders and sponsors who are interested in paving the way to a prosperous financial future for today’s youth.
