UTRUST, the cryptocurrency payment platform that offers its users the benefit of a payment protection mechanism, is launching their ICO or initial coin offering on September 20th 2017 at 2:00pm GMT at UTRUST – ICO.
The UTRUST team held a pre-sale that took place in August which sold out in only 90 minutes, achieving a collection of 1.5 million dollars in that short time.
The launch of the ICO may have a similar or stronger response than the sold out pre-ico, in part, because there were many who wanted to purchase the earlybird tokens, but weren’t able to initiate a purchase soon enough to make the cut-off.
UTRUST is among the first projects whose goal is to eliminate mistrust between merchants and consumers when considering cryptocurrency as a method of payment. A common problem for vendors is a lack of understanding of the new and increasingly popular digital cash called cryptocurrency. Often times when a seller is already aware of digital funds like Bitcoin and Ethereum, they are still too nervous to accept these in exchange for their offered goods and services.
On the other side of this there are thousands of shoppers who love using Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and similar cryptocoins but struggle to shop with the coins because of scarce merchant acceptance. Shoppers also worry, rightfully, that they will be tricked out of their money and get no product in return, because Bitcoin and similar digital options have no protection at all for the sender. Once it is sent, it is permanent, and without recourse, in the event of a bad deal.
UTRUST offers a solution acting as a neutral mediator to the transaction, much like an escrow service. Utilizing the clever crypto payment protection mechanism, both sides of a deal are relieved of much liability.
UTRUST creates a flexibility that has not been available up until now because UTRUST users can shop with a wide variety of their favorite cryptocurrencies and the vendor is paid according to their preference too, even if it’s is traditional fiat they desire.
“This is a game-changer that we know can change how merchants and buyers use cryptocurrencies and we believe that the only missing link is a platform of mediation and trust. The UTRUST platform.” The UTRUST Team as written in The UTRUST Whitepaper.
