Fresno-based startup Caseqa has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter in support of its one-of-a-kind patent-pending SLTR. It’s a revolutionary device that sits tightly on the mouth of a salt grinder and when plugged to a beer bottle, assures a perfect salted-rim beer every time. Messy countertops with splattered salt during cocktail hours are soon to be a thing of the past.
The crowdfunding campaign is geared to raise around $5,000 by October 11.
“Nothing can match up with the delight of sipping on a salted-rim beer bottle on beach vacations. However, when it comes to replicating that same jazzy salty feeling in your home bar, we usually end up with woes of split salt all over the countertop. But not anymore- our breakthrough patent-pending SLTR comes to the rescue. It’s a unique tool meticulously designed to impress you with cool salted-rim beer bottles right at your kitchen or bar- yet minus the hassles of splattered salt all over. It’s the first of its kind and something that all salted beer lovers have been waiting for years. We have tested the tool with many and have always received positive reviews. Now, we are looking forward to sharing our unique cocktail tool with the world. We are looking forward to mass production and hence this Kickstarter campaign. Your generous support would help us to bring this revolutionary tool to all the cocktail lovers around”, stated a leading spokesperson from Caseqa.
SLTR works through 3 simple steps.
- First, you will slice a nice lime wedge and dress the entire mouth of the beer bottle.
- Then, simply attach SLTR with a salt grinder. It works with any standard salt grinder.
- Now, place the whole thing (grinder attached with SLTR) over the rim of the beer bottle to coat it up with a nifty layer of salt.
- Finally, remove the SLTR from the bottle, take your first sip and lose yourself in ecstasy.
Speaking of the inspiration behind the product, the spokesperson mentioned about their beer hours at a Caseqa Brewfest. “My wife is excellent with salt-rimmed beers. But it’s the dirty salt-splattered table after the cocktail hours takes a toll on her. We observed that if you use salt grinders here, this mess is unavoidable. It inspired us to contemplate for a solution, and that night only we came up with a pathbreaking idea- and thus SLTR came to our lives.”
SLTR has an intelligent design, with a plug at its center which deters unwanted salt from entering the actual bottle. Most importantly, the tool is entirely flush-on-outside, which would prevent even a single grain of salt from the grinder from messing up your table.
“It’s going to be a great help for bartenders, restaurants, caterers, and vendors who have to salt countless beers throughout the day.”
Backers will be rewarded with production SLTR, salt grinder and 3D printed prototype of the unique device.
