Gifting a Lordship: Highland Heritage Services Announces Discount on Historical Plot Gift Sales

Paisley, UK, November 29, 2017 – Buying a piece of history is now a reality. Highland Heritage Services has announced a fun and unique way to gift plots of land, or become a Lord, on its Glenmore or Kingsdale Estates. The offer is available on its newly launched website,

The search for perfect gifts ends here. There are gifts that can truly make the day for the recipient, but there is nothing like buying a Lordship, or giving it along with a small plot of Scottish land. To mark the launch of their new website, Highland Heritage Services is now adding even more value to the gift by offering a 20% discount on purchases, reducing the price of a plot from £24.99 to £19.99 until December 31, 2017.

Few places compare in beauty to the beautiful Scottish island of Sanday, and that’s where the buyer would get to call themselves a Lord, Laird or Lady, all in a fun way. The purchaser can have even more fun by adopting the title and including it on their plot certificate.

“Our land plots are a perfect gift for that “person who has everything” and make a great gift for any occasion. Each land plot purchased comes with a plot certificate which can be printed with either your own name, or in someone else’s name if it is purchased as a gift. We can also date the certificate for a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or Christmas day,” said a spokesperson from Highland Heritage Services.

Plots offered by Highland Heritage Services are listed under Scottish law as “souvenir plots”, and the buyers receive on square foot of land on the historic Sanday, either at Glenmore or Kingsdale estates, owned by Highland Heritage Services. Highland Heritage Services is a Scottish based company based in Paisley, and have been selling souvenir land plots since 1998.

“Our land plots make a unique gift for any occasion, particularly for anyone with a Scottish connection. Selling the land in small plots also prevents it being developed or built on, and preserves it in its natural state for future generations to enjoy,” said the spokesperson.
