Los Angeles, CA – January 18, 2018 — Modern Living with kathy ireland® is pleased to announce an exclusive interview with the team at Victory Beef, who will share how their methods for producing the best beef starts with how the cattle is raised.
Owner Kelly Glazener talks about the common health concerns with beef consumption, and how traditional farming methods contribute to the problem. “With so many companies nowadays, it’s all about mass production. It’s all about how fast you can turn over the cattle and make money. And, the concern is not so much about the health of the consumer, or the health of the cattle, it’s more about turning to make a buck. We think it’s more important to take care of the animals and the people who consume our food.”
At Victory Beef, the animals are raised in a grass-fed only environment that produces grass finished Kumamoto Red Wagyu/Kobe Beef. Their meat lowers cholesterol, reduces the risk of heart disease, aids weight loss and improves the immune system.
“We are trying to redefine beef as people understand it,” says Elizabeth Glazener. “It had a bad stigma as being an unhealthy food for such a long time, but not all red meat is bad. Through the non-GMO fed grain and hay, and natural grass feeding, it creates a healthier product and you can literally taste the difference.”
“Knowing the products that can help us lead healthier lives makes a difference,” says JL Haber, Vice President of Programming. “We are happy to have Victory Beef come and share.”
