About Kaiju Promotions

Kaiju Started as an unnamed promotion in 1994 by Ronnie Pye. He’s a well-respected MC on the scene nationally in England, and quickly realised that there was very little in Liverpool UK that was catering for D&B at that time. The company has music experts dating back to 1994 who are experienced in putting on events.

The team at Kaiju have been responsible for the following successful events.

• 1994 – Free party on a beach in the North West UK.

• 1994 – First paid for event as Cadence for 300 people.

• 1995 – First large paid for event. 700 people and we sold out 4 weeks in advance! A great night was had by all. Hugely successful and was the real turning point for the future.

• 1999 – Organising a Drum & Bass event in Liverpool on the same weekend as The Beatles Festival. Suicidal? No… we had over 1200 people show up and a further estimated 300 who couldn’t get in because no tickets were left.

• 2018 – The birth of Kaiju. We are back and we aim to promote local and emerging talent, established artists and drum & bass legends for the love of the music.
