Salt Lake City, Utah – The past year has been a busy one for Everett Lavell Spencer, an African American male model, actor, and musician based in Utah and also working in L.A. He is represented by McCarty Talent Agency.
Spencer is in demand as a male model and as an actor because he is well-trained, experienced, and professional in every way. He is Jamaican, and his skills include body building, fitness training, runner, a motorcycle rider, musician and percussionist.
He has recently worked as a model in Utah and California during this past year. He was a runway model for the Pan African Film Festival Fashion Extravaganza, the African Market Place Fashion Show, the City of Los Angeles Juneteenth Celebration Fashion Show, and the Nappywood Hair and Fashion Show. He also modeled for an advertising poster print campaign for the Twisted Roots Store in Salt Lake City.
He is a talented professional musician. This past year his performances have included The Caribbean Christmas Concert for Audio West in Orem, Utah. He was a percussionist for the Kamas Valley Christmas Concert, and for a live performance on Good4Utah/CBS – Good Things Utah, CBS Good Utah4 in Salt Lake City with featured artist Marj Desius.
Spencer has appeared on a number of episodic television programs this past year. These have included 10-8: Officers for NBC in which he was a radio DJ, a role as a mailroom clerk in The West Wing, also for NBC, he was an African Traveler on ER, another NBC show, and a Teacher in Joan of Arcadia for CBS.
He also worked on the up-coming show for the new Paramount Network, Yellowstone starring Kevin Costner. The television show is being filmed in Utah and other locations and is expected to air later this year.
Spencer received his training from the Los Angeles City College School of Performing Arts, and most recently from the Michael Flynn Actors Workshop in Utah.
