Shera Sherpa Adventures is based in Kathmandu, Nepal, and provides a wide range of expeditions and treks for tourists on many of Nepal and Tibet’s famous mountains. Among the many expeditions and treks are the Mount Everest North Face Expedition, a 13-day Everest basecamp trek comprising a range of hikes, spectacular views, and attractions, Annapurna circuit treks, Manaslu expedition, and many others.
Shera Sherpa Adventures’ Mount Everest Expedition consists of a climb to the North Face of the Mountain as it’s relatively easier than the South Face, which is prone to unpredictable icefalls. The North Face is also safer and less crowded. Teams of climbers are limited to 10 people, which allow the company to adapt to unforeseen weather conditions. The Mount Everest expedition is the ultimate test in physical endurance where tourists can expect to experience harsh weather conditions, spectacular views, and the rewarding feeling of reaching the summit.
The North Face expedition provides one base camp, one advanced base camp, and three additional base camps (Camps 1, 2, and 3) to enable climbers to acclimatize to the low oxygen, high altitude conditions. Shera Sherpa Adventures provides tourists with all the necessary equipment for the climb including climbing gear, tents, toilets, and kitchen tent. The kitchen tent is equipped with stoves, cooking utensils, tables, and chairs. A variety of meals from traditional Tibetan and Nepali dishes through to western European cuisine are provided.
For all their expeditions, the company assigns a highly competent and experienced team to ensure the safety and comfort of climbers. For every two international climbers, there is a HGT Accredited Climbing Leader, a High-Altitude Assistance Sherpa, a cook, base camp assistance, and other necessary trekking crew such as porters, yaks, and yak men.
Shera Sherpa Adventures’ Everest Base Camp Trek is a 13-day tour where adventurers can take in spectacular views of local attractions including Mount Everest, world heritage sites, and Buddhist Temples. The tour also includes visits to Sagarmatha National Park, a climb to the Syangboche airstrip, a steep trek down Khumjung, a visit to Tengboche monastery, a hike through the Sherpa villages of Pheriche and Shomare, an overnight stay in Gorekshep, and much more.
Shera Sherpa Adventures’ key strengths are their highly experienced team of climbers to ensure the safety of visitors and their ability to offer customized treks and expeditions.
