Bill Foundation founders see huge market opportunity for rescue-centered dog products

Los Angeles, November 10, 2014. Jo and Peter Forman, the founders of Bill Foundation, a non-profit dog rescue, which they have operated for the past 15 years, are starting a dog products company based on products they’ve developed to help deal with the special problems of rescued dogs. Their extensive experience with rescuing and placing dogs, not only inspired the creation of Wee Willie’s, but is also the motivating factor for commercial success.  A significant portion of all profits from Wee Willie’s products will go towards the Bill Foundation and other rescues.

Many dogs when first coming into a new home will urinate as an instinctual means of marking out their territory.  This can be especially true of puppies, pets that may not have been housetrained or may not have even lived indoors.  This behavior causes inconvenience, odors and damage to property. The Formans, in order to save their own home and those of some of their rescued dogs’ adopters, developed an anti-marking system that has proven remarkably effective in hundreds of households, the Wee Willie’s Weiner Wrap.

This easy and effective system consists of a stretchy, two-layer reversible fabric band that wraps around the dog, and a disposable, adhesive pad attached to the inside of the wrap to absorb the urine.  When the dog learns that its marking is not producing a scent on the home territory, it often just stops attempting to urinate in the home.  While Wee Willie’s Weiner Wrap can be a wonderful interim housetraining tool, because it is so comfortable for the dog to wear, and so easy to use, it can become a permanent accessory for a canine companion who continues to mark or suffers from incontinence.

The wrap is attractive, reversible and machine washable, although it will rarely need washing if used properly with an absorbent pad. It comes in an array of sizes to fit the smallest to even the most massive dogs and will be available in a variety of colors and patterns.

Although the Wee Willie’s Weiner Wrap design has proven itself over the past 15 years, it is yet to be mass-produced.  The Formans have sponsored a crowdsourcing campaign on Indiegogo to raise the $35,000 needed to manufacture initial inventory and begin marketing this amazingly effective product.  With the help of pet lovers and rescue supporters, Wee Willie’s Weiner Wrap could soon be available in pet stores around the country. In return for supporting this important project, backers may receive perks like T-shirts, Wee Willie’s starter kits, deluxe kits, and years’ supplies of replacement pads.  For more information about Wee Willie’s Weiner Wrap or to make a contribution to this worthy cause, please visit
