Seyfeddin Roustamov: “Methanol market conditions still favorable”

Metadinea Trading (a company within Metafrax Group of Companies controlled by Seyfeddin Roustamov), one of the largest chemical traders, summed up the results for the first half of 2018.

The total sales in 2018 made up 91.4 million euros. The largest share of the corporate revenue was generated by consumers from Germany (EUR 19 million), Norway (EUR 18 million), the United Arab Emirates (EUR 15.5 million), the United States (EUR 9 million), and Great Britain (over EUR 8.5 million). As of the end of the first half of 2018, the performance indicators of Metadinea Trading continue growing steadily: in comparison with the same period of 2017, the revenue has increased by more than 10%. Mr. Roustamov notes that such indicators were achieved due to the favorable market conditions and the optimization of the corporate business processes.

Seyfeddin Roustamov:

In 2018, methanol market conditions still favorable. To a certain extent, the increase in the methanol price is promoted by the growing consumption of such methanol derivatives, as formalin, olefins, and acetic acid. On the other hand, our company has learned to respond quickly to sudden market fluctuations. In addition, we have successfully optimized our logistics, which allowed us to minimize unforeseen expenses.
