Chicago, IL – Inspection Certification Associates (ICA), the leading provider of home inspection training and certification in the U.S., is pleased to announce the introduction of Maryland home inspection licensingcourses for interested applicants.
According to ICA spokesperson Chuck Pulaski, demand for home inspectors has reached an all time high in Maryland due to the recent introduction of a new law passed in Baltimore County that requires all rental properties be inspected by a licensed home inspector prior to January 1, 2019.
“The demand has become overwhelming,” says Pulaski. “So in order to help meet the need, ICA is holding state-approved classroom training courses to provide the 72 hours of training that are required to become a licensed home inspector in the state of Maryland. We’re already getting a lot of interested inquiries.”
In addition to passing the National Home Inspector exam, Maryland requires applicants to complete 72 hours of on-site classroom training approved by the State before being issued a license. ICA’s home inspection classroom training completely fulfills this requirement. Classes are offered in Rockville and Baltimore with no requirements as to time limits. The tuition for the 72 hour course is $1,395, and upcoming schedules are posted here.
“Once you’ve completed our training sessions, you’ll be completely prepared to pass the National Home Inspectors exam,” adds Pulaski.
The exam is based on ASHI Standards of Practice, which is fully covered during ICA’s training. A 200-page study guide with more than 700 practice questions is included in the cost of tuition. Also included is lifetime access to ICA’s Maryland Home Inspection Course, along with free products and services that include ICA’s online home inspection refresher training, online mold and radon inspection training, and more.
“It’s a rewarding career for which there’s great demand,” concludes Pulaski. “You can enroll online on our website, or just give us a call at 888-374-4096.”
