ESPN New Orleans Radio Nationally Syndicated on 100.3FM

ESPN New Orleans 100.3FM
ESPN New Orleans radio was acquired by Coastal Broadcasting in early 2014. Listeners in the New Orleans metro area can tune in daily for local and nationally syndicated programming.

ESPN Radio terminated their contract with Entercom Communications in late 2013, a void that Coastal Broadcasting was happy to fill. Quality programming and customer satisfaction has been the number one priority at Coastal Broadcasting for over twenty years. It made perfect sense for the station to acquire ESPN Radio, where it can meet the demands of customers and sponsors in the New Orleans metropolitan area.

“I patiently waited for over a year and a half to bring ESPN Radio to Coastal Broadcasting,” says Jerry Gisclair, owner and operator. “Once ESPN was available we made the decision to opt into a contract to simulcast the station on 100.3FM.”

ESPN Radio New Orleans has been broadcasting on 100.3FM (formerly, “The Rajun Cajun”) since January 2014. We want ESPN listeners and sports fans to know of the changes. Sports is important to the community and we want listeners to be aware of the fantastic programs we offer everyday, at premium quality. National sports coverage includes: NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAA (football, basketball, and baseball). Local sports coverage includes: New Orleans Saints, Pelicans, Zephyrs, LSU (football, baseball, and basketball), Tulane (football, baseball, and basketball). Listeners in the following parishes can tune into 100.3FM: Orleans, Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. John, St. Charles, Lafourche, Terrebonne, and Assumption. The station’s clear broadcast is matched with exceptional programs. ESPN 100.3FM offers nationally syndicated shows, in addition to its plethora of local programming.

“We are committed to providing a quality broadcast and programs to our sponsors and listeners. Our station is broadcasted at the highest level, operating on 89 kilowatts. This allows for clear sound with little to no interruptions,” says Jerry.
