FreedomFest Florida 2018 Schedule Announced, to Honor Veterans at Florida Classic Park

October 22, 2018 – This year’s FreedomFest Florida is going to an unconventional venue, and will be held at the Florida Classic Park, Brooksville, FL, on November 10-11. The event schedule and the major acts and artists have been announced, and these include Night Ranger, Morgan Wallen and Jimmie Allen.

The two-day FreedomFest Florida will unfold on the Veteran’s Day Weekend, and will be devoted to remembering, honoring, and teaching. The event supports Wreaths Across America, a veteran’s charity, and apart from honoring the past and present veterans, will be memorable as the location is near the Tricounty area with over 87,000 veterans as residents. The location is also a 20-minute drive from the Florida National Cemetery, supported and maintained by Wreaths Across America (FL).

For the first time, the 50-acre Florida Classic Park has been readied for a large scale music festival, and will host up to 300 Rvs, tend camping, food trucks, vendors and merchants. The Park ties together Tampa Bay, Ocala and Orlando.

Day 1 of FreedomFest Florida will be lit by Night Ranger, the multi-platinum recording artist and legendary musician who has given hits such as ‘Sister Christian’, ‘You can still Rock in America’, ‘Goodbye’, and ‘Don’t tell me you love me’. Night Ranger has sold over 17 million albums and performed at over 3,000 live shows. They will be accompanied by Robby Steinhardt and the music of Kansas City (Carry on wayward son, Dust in the wind). Other artists include Corky Laing’s Mountain, tribute to Tom Petty (The Broken Hearts), Ozzy Osbourne (Diary of an Ozzman), Stormbringer and Stonegrey.

The second day will be made equally rewarding with a country themed musical day, led by Morgan Wallen (‘Up Down’), and Jimmy Allen (‘Best Shot’). Other acts include Eagles Tribute (Alter-Eagles), up and comer Randy McNeely, Rock band, Southern Rumble featuring Jeremy Thomas (formerly of south rock legends Blackfoot), breaking young female blues guitarist and winner of the Prestigious Stevie Ray Vaughn award, Ally Venable, and local artists John Hindman & Mustang Mafia.
