In September 2018, Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. has recently secured a modification contract with the valuation of USD 89 Mn for conducting research and development of AH-1Z and UH-1Y System Configuration Sets (SCSs) mission computers which are the upgrades to the avionics in helicopters.
