Houston, TEXAS – JAN 21, 2015 – How does gaming become more interesting? When it’s an arena and the player gets to build their own robot team of three robots to challenge other robot teams. A Texas engineering student has created an app that allows gamers to create their own team of three custom robots and has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to program and distribute it.
Called Arena Bots, this game is going to give players a team of three robots that they can customize and then use to advance through the story mode. They can even use them in epic player vs player battles. The robots will start play in the game with low grade armor or parts and as players advance through the game and player vs player events, they will be able to earn rarer parts that will increase their bot’s stats.
One of the exciting things allowed in player vs player mode is that players who win the battle will be allowed to collect from their opponent any part they choose as a reward for the victory. The app overall will be very basic and easy to use.
Angel investors helping fund the Arena Bots – Build Your Battle Team campaign to the next level will be eligible for perks such as thank yous, and much, much more.
The team also understands not everyone may be able to give money to help the Arena Bots – Build Your Battle Team campaign, so they ask that those who cannot give monetarily help by spreading the word about the Arena Bots – Build Your Battle Team project online through social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr or record a video challenge for Vine, Facebook or Instagram to invite friends to give to or share this IndieGoGo fundraiser. Include #ArenaBots in all posts.
