Boston, MASSACHUSETTS – JAN 27, 2015 – A Northeastern University Co-ed A Cappella Group, Distilled Harmony, wants to create a professionally recorded album to be able to share their music with the world and they’ve launched an IndieGoGo campaign to help make it happen. They only have nine days left to raise $10,000 so they are asking for everyone to pitch in as every dollar counts.
The money raised in this campaign will be used for the Recording, mixing, editing, and production of a full length album, which is a lengthy and cost intensive process. They will be hiring professionals to help out. It will also be used to acquire the rights to host their music on iTunes and Spotify as since they are an A Cappella group, none of their music is original and they need the rights to sell it. Money raised will also help the group send CDs and perks to supporters.
Distilled Harmony is one of the three co-ed a cappella singing groups on the Northeastern University campus, and is focused on singing music arranged by their group members. They perform on and off campus, but most of all they want to have fun.
Angel investors helping fund the Distilled Harmony A Cappella Album Project campaign to the next level will be eligible for perks such as thank yous, a CD, a Behind the Scenes video, mention in the CD Pamphlet, name in CD credits, an autographed CD, a poster, a T-shirt, a video shout out, a personal performance, a private performance and much, much more.
The team also understands not everyone may be able to give money to help the Distilled Harmony A CAPPELLA Album Project campaign, so they ask that those who cannot give monetarily help by spreading the word about the Distilled Harmony A CAPPELLA Album Project online through social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr or record a video challenge for Vine, Facebook or Instagram to invite friends to give to or share this IndieGoGo fundraiser. Include #DistilledHarmonyAlbum in all posts.
