Shenzhen Fashion Week A/W 2019 has brought together a number of influential brands and designers around the world, including international renowned designers, independent designers, and emerging designers, such as Italian brands San Andrès Milano, French women’s dress brand Nathalie Chaize and French women’s high-end ready-to-wear brand IRAKLI PARIS.
With the development of internationalization, theintegration ability of design resources across the globe has become more and more significant to Chinese local brand. The collections in fashion brands such as JESSIE, Song of Song, vimageetc. are jointly developed by Chinese and foreign design teams.
As the organizer of Shenzhen Fashion Week, SHENYongfang, president of Shenzhen Garment Industry Association, stressed in an interview: the degree of brand internationalization of Shenzhen Fashion Week has been exceeded 50%. In addition to the participation of well-known foreign designers,the organizeralso invited international renowned buyers as judges, to select the corresponding 8 prizes for brands and designers presenting during this season. She emphasized that building up and maintaining an international platform for designers to make long term business connection is very vital for Shenzhen Fashion Week.
