CHALLENGE LYFE offers career exploration and readiness for youths and young adults ages 14 to 29, by providing participants and members a roadmap not just to a successful career, but also to a happier, more passion-full and purpose focused life. The organization recently launched its Online Career Exploration Academy, making its hassle-free services available for more people.
CHALLENGE LYFE also makes becoming a Youth Career Mentor easy. They accomplish this by streamlining their volunteer process, and reducing the requirements to volunteer down to as little as 1- hour a year. This makes it possible for even the busiest, most elite profession to leave their career legacy for the next generation. Would-be mentees start by picking three out of the twelve career categories that CHALLENGE LYFE has on its website based on their interests. After answering a few questions about their choices, mentees will be given career suggestions to start exploring. Those who have a clearer idea of what they want to be already may instead decide to immediately start researching the more than 100 career options using the CHALLENGE LYFE propriety 10P Method of career exploration. After completion, mentees will gain their Career Exploration Completion Certificate. They will be able to clearly state pertinent decision making information such as the career Prerequisites, Pay, and Payback using the CHALLENGE LYFE Financial vs Scholastic Risk Scale.
Alternatively, those who are struggling to choose a career may sign up for the course called the “Cash-in’ On Your Career ‘Passion’ Challenge.” In this short self-paced program, participants are given the tools to be able to zero in on the career path that would potentially satisfy them professionally, emotionally, and financially. https://magic.challengelyfe.com/.
“I didn’t know how to pick a profession,” said 17-year-old Mariana. “I was struggling to choose a career that fit my personality.” Upon taking the Challenge, she was able to realize a lot about herself that made her decide on exploring two possible career options. “Now I know I either want to help children as a child psychologist or help animals as a veterinarian. With CHALLENGE LYFE, I was able to narrow my choices down and was left with options I am happy and confident with.”
For the people behind CHALLENGE LYFE, it’s all about giving the next generation the guidance they need to achieve a successful career. “We are passionate about helping the next generation find their career purpose faster, easier, and with less student debt,” explained CHALLENGE LYFE founder Dr. Veneda Polite. According to its website, many adults who did not get career mentorship growing up are now still paying off student debt that is as high as $150,000. Because of this, CHALLENGE LYFE takes extra steps to make sure its mentees do not fall into a similar debt trap. “We ensure that the next generation has the career mentorship we wish we had,” added Dr. Polite.
CHALLENGE LYFE’s services also extend to the socially and economically challenged. Through its non-profit sister organization, The LYFE Foundation. Here youth and young adults get access to live-streamed conferences, career training, and other programs for free. On top of that, the foundation also sponsors/finds scholarships and connects youth and young adults to college, trade schools and organizations that will help them follow their dreams and pursue their career passions.
