Interviewer: Give us a brief of your background and educational qualifications.
Olga Fleming: I graduated from Warsaw University with double master’s degrees in both Real Estate Management and Law Studies. I stepped into the real estate investment business in Poland right after I graduated college. In 2009, after the European economic crisis, I started seeing the trend of foreign investments pouring into the Polish market, and I asked myself, with my background, why can’t I do something for foreign investors who are entering the Polish market. Truth to be told, it was the right decision, and I founded Oruga Investment. Since then, we have served more than 4500 international clients, expanding their markets to not only Poland, but also other EU states. As I travel a lot for business, especially in recent 3 years, everywhere I go, people always asked me, can you give us some business coaching or training regarding business investments, therefore I started Fleming Wealth Academy aiming to help entrepreneurs set up and grow their businesses.
Interviewer: What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?
Olga Fleming: Here’s a story I can share with you. When I was in college, I worked for a real estate company, things went well, everything looked fine, but one day the owner just laid off a large amount of employees in the company because of the crisis. This bothered me, it was something I had never seen before. Ever since then, I aimed to own my own business and nobody else can control my professional career except me. Also, I hang out with a group of friends who were very passionate about their pursuit of starting their own businesses. This also played a big role in my decision of being an entrepreneur.
Interviewer: What are the projects/businesses you are currently handling?
Olga Fleming: Well, I am not going to tell you the name of the project, but I can give you a detailed description of the project due to NDA. You will see this project in public in 6 months from now. We are working with a large family office on the investment of a luxury hotel project in Ireland with a minimum yield of 8%. Also, we started our yacht membership program in Spain this summer also. You can invest in the yacht and have a timeshare, or you can also rent it for vacation.
Interviewer: Tell us about your biggest achievements so far?
Olga Fleming: Linked investors and entrepreneurs of 5 continents cross-industries to network at the European Business & Investment, €15 billion capital invested.
Interviewer: What are the recent events you attended as a professional speaker and business coach?
Olga Fleming: Wolves Summit, African Economic Congress, World Youth Summit, Cyprus Investment Summit, European Business & Investment Summit, China Offshore Summit, etc.
Interviewer: What is the secret to your success?
Olga Fleming: I would have to say hard work, keep your eyes open, welcome new ideas, dare to try guts ideas and adapt to new changes fast.
Interviewer: What is the one advice you’d like to give the aspiring entrepreneurs?
Olga Fleming: I would say connecting people is by far the most important advice I have for young entrepreneurs. Go to industry events as often as possible, to pitch your ideas, looking for investors. Also, find the right mentor that helps you grow.
