Five Provinces (Autonomous Regions) in Northwest China Invite People to Xi’an Silk Road International Tourism Expo 2020 in March

Xi’an Silk Road International Tourism Expo (XSRITE) 2020 is going to be held at Xi’an Qujiang International Conference & Exhibition Center between March 27 and 29. The exhibition will cover an area of 40,000 m2 and attract over 1,000 exhibitors and 500 buyers from over 50 countries and regions.

Xi’an is the starting point of the Silk Road, an important gateway for foreign communication and westward opening up, the only national central city in Northwest China, and a major tourist destination and tourist generating area, with more than 10 million residents. In 2018, Shaanxi received 630 million tourists and the revenue produced went beyond RMB 599.4 billion. In 2019, the growth rate of oversea consumption created by Shaanxi tourists ranked top 10 in the country, unfolding a promising future of cooperation in cultural tourism.

Through the XSRITE Reservation Online System (REOS), buyers and sellers can quickly target their potential partners based on their own needs. Also, a particular Business Negotiation Area is set on site to facilitate trade during the exhibition.

This year’s XSRITE lays equal stress on B2B + B2C and trade + exhibition, striving to become an international expo valued by tourism practitioners and customers along the Silk Road. It aims to connect exhibitors and end-users and help attending parties realize expected goals via industrial data sharing, information release and purchasing cooperation.

To increase the on-site volume of transactions and create more economic and brand values for exhibitors, XSRITE plans to invite mainstream media at home and abroad and more industrial audience to the site.

Led by the government, run by the market and participated by the society, this XSRITE introduces reputable large companies to prepare for the event. It is jointly sponsored by the Departments of Culture and Tourism of Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia and Xinjiang Provinces and the Bureau of Culture, Sports, Radio, Television and Tourism of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC), undertaken by West Shaanxi International Exhibition Co., Ltd. and greatly supported by Shaanxi Tourism Association, Shaanxi Hot Spring Tourism Association, etc. They all work together to launch thousands of cultural tourism activities and routes with special discounts, in a bid to promote the cultural tourism market in Northwest China.
