Children’s Author Lisa M. Pritchard Celebrates America’s Birthday with a Patriotic New Picture Book for Young Readers

As families, educators, homeschoolers, churches, and libraries look for meaningful books that promote positive values, children’s author Lisa M. Pritchard announces the upcoming release of Tiny Tot Tiger Says Happy Birthday, America!, the second title in The Dirt Dog and Friends Series.

Written for children ages 4 to 8, the beautifully illustrated picture book introduces young readers to patriotism, gratitude, civic pride, and respect for the men and women who serve in the United States military. The book officially releases on June 2, 2026, with preorders available now through major retailers.

With the Fourth of July approaching, Tiny Tot Tiger has many questions. During a stop at Delicious Dairy Sweet Treats with his friends Dirt Dog, Furry Feline Frannie, Prissy Poodle, and Snicker Schnauzer, the conversation turns to the upcoming parade. Curious and eager to understand, Tiny Tot Tiger asks questions such as, “What’s the Navy?” “What do the stars on the flag mean?” and “What is a patriotic spirit?”

As the friends enjoy their ice cream, they discover that each of their fathers served in different branches of the military, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. On parade day, the children cheer for floats honoring liberty, the Declaration of Independence, and the brave men and women who protect America’s freedoms. By the evening fireworks display, even the youngest heart begins to understand what it means to be an American.

Tiny Tot Tiger Says Happy Birthday, America! commemorates America’s birthday with vibrant illustrations by Lissette Blanco, a discussion guide, and the full text of the Pledge of Allegiance. Designed to spark thoughtful conversations in homes, classrooms, churches, homeschool groups, daycare centers, and libraries, the book encourages children to reflect on gratitude, unity, service, and love of country.

“Only 31% of American third graders read at a proficient level, so it is important to provide children with stories that make reading enjoyable and meaningful,” said Pritchard. “Research shows that children raised in reading-focused environments are more likely to succeed academically and socially. Because of that, I am creating literacy workbooks and audiobooks for the series to support learning and encourage a lifelong love of reading.”

Each title in The Dirt Dog and Friends Series includes end-of-story lessons that reinforce age-appropriate life principles. Depending on the title, supplemental content may include Scripture, civic elements, and community-focused themes.

Pritchard’s first book in the series, Dirt Dog Invites Prissy Poodle to the Prom, introduced readers to the heartwarming world of Dirt Dog and Friends. The third title, Cool Cat Moo Moves to a New School, is scheduled for release in spring 2027. Pritchard is also developing literacy workbooks and audiobooks for the series, expected to launch in Fall 2026.

Readers can meet Lisa M. Pritchard at Barnes & Noble in Myrtle Beach on July 11. She is available for interviews, school visits, church events, book readings, and community appearances.

Tiny Tot Tiger Says Happy Birthday, America! is available for preorder now on Amazon and will officially release on June 2, 2026, on Barnes & Noble, Target, and other major retailers. Bulk orders for schools, churches, homeschool groups, and daycare centers are encouraged.

Marine Toys for Tots Foster Care Program Creates Room for Joy for Children in Foster Care This National Foster Care Month

Marine Toys for Tots Foster Care Program Creates Room for Joy for Children in Foster Care This National Foster Care Month

“Our Foster Care Program exists to bring comfort and stability to children entering Foster Care. This National Foster Care Month, we honor the donors whose generosity creates real Room for Joy for foster children across the Nation.” -LtGen Laster
Imagine being a young child or teen, suddenly removed from everything familiar and handed a single bag in which to hold your life’s belongings. This is the painful reality for more than 400,000 at-risk children, including those in foster care across the United States. This National Foster Care Month, the Marine Toys for Tots Foster Care Program shines a light on the powerful difference supporters make—helping bring comfort, hope, and more Room for Joy into the lives of foster children.

Marine Toys for Tots launched its Foster Care Program in 2022 to bring comfort, stability, and hope to children navigating the foster care system—many of whom arrive with only a few belongings and an overwhelming sense of uncertainty. In the middle of so much change and turmoil, something small can make a big difference.

In 2025, the Toys for Tots Foster Care Program partnered with local organizations nationwide to deliver emotional relief packages—filled with toys, books, backpacks, and educational resources—to nearly 375,000 at-risk children, including those in foster care. These items do more than bring temporary comfort; they reassure children that even in moments of upheaval, there is still Room for Joy.

“Our Foster Care Program is about far more than delivering toys or books—it’s about restoring hope, creating moments of stability, and reminding foster children that they truly matter,” said Lieutenant General Jim Laster, USMC (Retired), CEO of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. “Because of our donors, we’re able to create real ‘Room for Joy’—one meaningful gift at a time.”

Few stories illustrate this more powerfully than that of United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal Taylor Bills.

LCpl Bills grew up surrounded by instability. He moved frequently between parents, watched his siblings move through child protective services, and navigated a childhood shaped by uncertainty. Yet even amid adversity, he discovered moments where there was Room for Joy—often through acts of giving. He volunteered with local foster care organizations and eventually with his local Toys for Tots Chapter, an experience that left a permanent imprint.

He recalls standing in a school gym filled with toys during a Toys for Tots distribution event. As he watched children—many of whom reminded him of himself—walk away smiling with something new to call their own, he felt a deep sense of connection and purpose. “I recognized some of the kids, and being able to watch them come through and then get a smile on their face was really heartwarming,” LCpl Bills shared.

Still, he knew he wanted to do more. Determined to change the trajectory of his life and to serve as an example for children facing similar struggles, he made the decision to enlist in the United States Marine Corps.

This is the power of supporters’ generosity. From a childhood marked by instability to a career serving his country, LCpl Bills found purpose—and hope—because others stepped forward to help. For children in foster care, one donation can alter the course of a life and create more Room for Joy.

“Just because you can’t see what’s right in front of you today or tomorrow doesn’t mean that something good isn’t there,” said LCpl Bills. “So don’t give up…you are in control of your future, and it’s not too late to do something great.”

WisPaper Scholar Agent Highlights the Shift Toward Intent-Aware Academic Search

WisPaper, an AI-powered academic research platform, today highlighted a growing shift in academic search workflows: researchers are increasingly looking for systems that understand research intent rather than relying solely on keyword matching. Through its Scholar Agent, WisPaper is designed to support more targeted literature discovery by combining semantic understanding with AI-assisted paper validation.

Moving Beyond Traditional Keyword Search

Academic search has long depended on keyword-based retrieval systems. While effective for locating known terms, these workflows can become inefficient when researchers are exploring complex questions, interdisciplinary topics, or emerging fields where terminology is inconsistent.

In many cases, researchers must manually screen large volumes of papers to determine which results are actually relevant to their work. This process often involves opening dozens of tabs, comparing abstracts, and refining searches repeatedly before identifying a focused set of sources.

WisPaper’s Scholar Agent is designed to address this challenge by allowing researchers to search using natural-language questions rather than relying entirely on Boolean logic or exact keyword combinations.

Research Intent as a Search Layer

According to WisPaper, the Scholar Agent analyzes the structure and intent behind a research query before conducting retrieval and validation steps. The workflow includes question analysis, criteria validation, semantic search, and relevance screening intended to reduce irrelevant results during early-stage literature review.

The platform also supports paper organization through integrated library management features, allowing users to save papers, manage citations, annotate documents, and track research topics over time.

In addition, AI Feeds are designed to monitor new publications related to a user’s research interests and surface potentially relevant papers as new work becomes available.

AI Search in Research Workflows

As academic literature continues to expand across disciplines, researchers are placing greater emphasis on tools that can help manage information overload while maintaining relevance and traceability.

WisPaper’s Scholar Agent reflects a broader industry trend toward AI systems that support reasoning-oriented discovery workflows rather than functioning solely as document retrieval tools.

About WisPaper

WisPaper is an AI-powered academic research agent designed as a full-stack research accelerator. It supports literature retrieval, analysis, experiment design, execution, and paper writing within a unified workflow, helping researchers manage complex scientific tasks more efficiently across disciplines. Jordan Cheyenne Expands Podcast Conversations on Identity and Nervous System Regulation

Jordan Cheyenne Expands Podcast Conversations on Identity and Nervous System Regulation

Jordan Cheyenne
Jordan Cheyenne, creator of the Manifestation and Mindset Academy, uses her podcast to explore neuroscience, identity, and internal consistency in real time.

Menifee, CA – May 28, 2026 – Jordan Cheyenne, mindset and manifestation mentor and creator of the Manifestation and Mindset Academy, is expanding the scope of her current podcast episodes to address a growing issue she sees across high-performing individuals: chronic overstimulation and identity misalignment.

Rather than introducing a new program or campaign, Cheyenne is using her podcast as a platform for deeper conversations around nervous system regulation, repetition, and identity conditioning.

“Your brain responds to repetition,” Jordan Cheyenne shares. “If you rehearse doubt daily, your nervous system memorizes doubt. If you rehearse certainty, it memorizes that instead.”

Recent episodes focus on how stress patterns quietly shape decisions, how identity influences perception, and why emotional steadiness matters more than intensity.

“Confidence isn’t loud. It’s steady,” she explains in a recent recording. “If your body feels unsafe, you will sabotage what you say you want.”

Why These Conversations Matter Now

The urgency is supported by data:

  • The World Health Organization recognizes burnout as a global occupational issue.

  • More than 75% of professionals report experiencing burnout at some stage.

  • Chronic stress reduces cognitive flexibility and increases reactive behavior.

  • Neuroscience research confirms repeated stress responses strengthen neural pathways tied to reactivity.

Cheyenne sees a consistent pattern. Many ambitious individuals are attempting expansion without stabilizing their internal state first.

“Your life reflects your dominant state,” she says. “Change the state consistently, and your results follow.”

The podcast serves as a weekly reminder of that principle.

What Listeners Can Expect

Current podcast episodes explore:

  • How the nervous system influences risk tolerance and decision-making

  • Why identity patterns override willpower

  • The role of repetition in rewiring thought cycles

  • Emotional rehearsal as preparation, not fantasy

  • Daily regulation practices that support clarity

Each episode breaks down complex ideas into structured, repeatable frameworks.

The tone is steady. The focus is practical.

There is no urgency push. There is no quick-fix narrative.

The emphasis is internal conditioning.

Listener Toolkit: 10 Practices Discussed on the Podcast

Listeners are encouraged to apply what they hear. No paid enrollment is required to begin practicing these concepts.

  1. Take five minutes of slow breathing before major decisions.

  2. Write down dominant daily thoughts.

  3. Identify one recurring reactive pattern.

  4. Replace one limiting belief with a stabilizing alternative.

  5. Avoid making important decisions late at night.

  6. Schedule one midday pause without stimulation.

  7. Reduce multitasking during one focused hour.

  8. Visualize a calm version of your future self for three minutes.

  9. Journal one emotional trigger daily.

  10. Track your emotional state at the same time each day.

Repetition builds familiarity. Familiarity builds stability.

30-Day Listening and Application Guide

For listeners who want structure, Cheyenne suggests a simple cadence:

Week 1 ☐ Listen to one episode ☐ Practice daily breathing ☐ Track dominant thoughts

Week 2 ☐ Identify one identity pattern ☐ Reduce reactive responses ☐ Add midday pause

Week 3 ☐ Practice calm visualization ☐ Reduce multitasking ☐ Journal emotional triggers

Week 4 ☐ Evaluate emotional steadiness ☐ Notice changes in decision clarity ☐ Adjust daily repetition patterns

The podcast becomes part of a structured rhythm rather than passive consumption.

Call to Action

Jordan Cheyenne invites listeners to approach her podcast as training, not entertainment.

Choose one practice discussed in an episode. Apply it consistently for one week. Share the episode with someone who values internal discipline and clarity.

Consistency builds internal strength.

Edward Falk Firefighter Launches “Prepared at Home” Personal Safety Pledge

Edward Falk Firefighter Launches “Prepared at Home” Personal Safety Pledge

Edward Falk Firefighter
Retired Florida Fire Captain Edward Falk of Tampa calls on families across Florida to strengthen everyday emergency readiness.

Tampa, Florida – May 28, 2026 – After 30 years serving as a firefighter and paramedic, retired Captain Edward Falk is launching a personal initiative focused on one clear issue: household emergency preparedness.

The pledge, called “Prepared at Home,” encourages families to build simple, repeatable safety habits before emergencies happen.

“Emergencies don’t give you time to think twice,” Edward Falk says. “Training is what you fall back on. You can train (practice) in your home as well.”

Throughout his career, Falk saw a consistent pattern. The difference between chaos and control was often preparation.

“Preparation isn’t dramatic,” he explains. “It’s daily awareness.”

Now, he is committing to lead by example.

Why This Matters Now

According to FEMA and national safety data:

  • Nearly 60% of Americans have not practiced what to do in a disaster.

  • About 40% of households lack a basic emergency plan.

  • Over 6,000 structure fires occur in the U.S. each day on average.

  • In cardiac emergencies, bystander CPR can double or triple survival rates.

Florida ranks among the highest states for emergency call volume due to storms, fires, and population density.

Falk believes the solution is not fear. It is structure.

“Training isn’t just for firefighters,” he says. “It’s for families too.”

After decades responding to emergencies and 16 years teaching EMT students, he has seen how seconds matter.

The “Prepared at Home” Personal Pledge

Edward Falk is committing to the following seven concrete actions:

  1. Review and practice a home evacuation plan with family members twice per year.

  2. Test smoke detectors monthly and replace batteries proactively.

  3. Keep at least one fire extinguisher accessible on every level of the home.

  4. Refresh CPR certification every two years.

  5. Maintain a stocked emergency kit with water, flashlights, batteries, and first aid supplies.

  6. Review hurricane and severe weather procedures annually before storm season.

  7. Mentor at least one family or community member each year on basic safety preparedness.

Do-It-Yourself Toolkit: 10 Free Safety Actions Anyone Can Take

You do not need special equipment or paid services to begin preparing.

Start with these steps:

  1. Identify two exit routes from every room in your home.

  2. Create a simple emergency contact sheet and post it visibly.

  3. Practice a 60-second evacuation drill.

  4. Store a flashlight in each bedroom.

  5. Learn basic CPR through free community demonstrations or public videos from reputable safety organizations.

  6. Check that fire extinguishers are fully charged.

  7. Discuss meeting locations with family members in case of separation.

  8. Clear clutter near exits and walkways.

  9. Review weather alerts weekly during storm season.

  10. Set a calendar reminder to review your safety plan quarterly.

“Consistency builds trust,” Falk says. “The same applies to preparedness.”

30-Day Progress Tracker

To help individuals take action, Falk suggests this simple 30-day checklist:

Week 1 ☐ Test smoke detectors ☐ Identify exit routes ☐ Create contact sheet

Week 2 ☐ Inspect fire extinguishers ☐ Build or update emergency kit ☐ Practice evacuation drill

Week 3 ☐ Review CPR basics ☐ Discuss emergency roles with family ☐ Check weather procedures

Week 4 ☐ Conduct full safety walkthrough ☐ Replace expired supplies ☐ Schedule next quarterly review

At the end of 30 days, families should feel clearer, calmer, and more structured.

“Emergencies don’t wait,” Falk says. “But preparation gives you control.”

Call to Action

Edward Falk invites families across Florida and beyond to join the “Prepared at Home” pledge.

Take one action this week. Share this toolkit with a neighbor or friend. Schedule a family safety conversation.

Small habits save lives.

“Training is what you fall back on,” Falk says. “Make sure you’ve practiced.”

About Edward Falk

Edward Falk is a retired Florida Fire Captain with 30 years of service as a firefighter and paramedic. He holds multiple state certifications, including EMT, Paramedic, Fire Officer, Hazardous Materials Technician, and Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting specialist. Nationwide Advance New York Launches “Close the Timing Gap” Pledge to Support Small Business Momentum

Nationwide Advance New York Launches “Close the Timing Gap” Pledge to Support Small Business Momentum

Nationwide Advance
New York-based Nationwide Advance calls on business owners to take proactive control of capital timing and cash flow readiness.

New York, NY – May 28, 2026 – Nationwide Advance New York is launching a public pledge aimed at addressing a growing issue facing small and mid-sized businesses: delayed funding decisions that quietly erode momentum.

After working with businesses across the country since 2009, Nationwide Advance has seen firsthand how slow capital access impacts real-world growth.

“Opportunity doesn’t wait for underwriting committees,” the team explains. “If a business owner needs inventory by Friday, a three-week delay is not neutral. It is costly.”

The company is now encouraging business owners to commit to proactive financial preparedness through what it calls the “Close the Timing Gap” Pledge.

Why This Matters Now

Small businesses represent 99.9% of all U.S. businesses and employ nearly half of the private workforce, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Yet:

  • Over 40% of small businesses report difficulty accessing traditional financing (Federal Reserve data).

  • Many traditional loan approvals take weeks or longer.

  • Nearly 60% of small businesses experience cash flow challenges each year.

  • Seasonal businesses often operate within 3–6 month revenue windows, making timing critical.

“Funding should match how a business actually earns,” Nationwide Advance notes. “If revenue moves daily, your capital structure should reflect that.”

The company emphasizes that timing gaps do not always show up on balance sheets. They show up in missed inventory discounts, lost purchase orders, delayed hiring, and reduced marketing spend.

“We’ve seen strong businesses lose momentum simply because capital moved too slowly,” the team shares. “Demand existed. The revenue existed. Timing did not.”

The “Close the Timing Gap” Pledge

Nationwide Advance New York is committing to the following seven behaviors:

  1. Provide clear funding timelines upfront so business owners can plan accurately.

  2. Prioritize response speed without sacrificing responsible underwriting.

  3. Educate business owners on proactive capital planning before emergencies arise.

  4. Encourage cash flow visibility through structured monthly reviews.

  5. Promote funding alignment with revenue cycles, not arbitrary schedules.

  6. Reduce unnecessary documentation friction where possible.

  7. Maintain transparent communication throughout every funding review process.

“Capital should support operations in real time,” the company states. “If funding slows a business, it is not serving its purpose.”

The DIY Toolkit: 10 Actions Business Owners Can Take Today

Nationwide Advance emphasizes that business owners do not need to wait for policy reform or lender change. They can reduce timing risk themselves.

Here are 10 practical steps:

  1. Update monthly revenue and expense statements consistently.

  2. Map peak stress cash flow periods on a 12-month calendar.

  3. Apply for funding before inventory or payroll deadlines.

  4. Keep digital copies of tax returns and bank statements ready.

  5. Calculate the cost of delayed capital on major purchases.

  6. Negotiate supplier payment terms proactively.

  7. Maintain a minimum emergency reserve buffer.

  8. Separate operating and growth capital accounts.

  9. Review credit utilization ratios quarterly.

  10. Build relationships with funding partners before urgency hits.

“Prepared businesses move faster,” Nationwide Advance explains. “Clean numbers shorten decision cycles.”

30-Day Progress Tracker

To help business owners implement change immediately, Nationwide Advance encourages a simple 30-day plan:

Week 1:

  • Organize financial documents.

  • Identify next 90 days of major cash outflows.

Week 2:

  • Map revenue inflow timing.

  • Calculate potential opportunity cost of delays.

Week 3:

  • Reach out to at least one funding provider for timeline clarity.

  • Review credit strength and utilization.

Week 4:

  • Create a written capital readiness checklist.

  • Share the pledge with at least one fellow business owner.

Small, structured steps reduce timing risk dramatically.

A Broader Call for Awareness

Nationwide Advance believes the funding ecosystem must evolve alongside modern business speed.

“Funding is infrastructure,” the company states. “Infrastructure should accelerate growth, not stall it.”

The pledge is not about faster approvals alone. It is about aligning capital access with operational reality.

Business cycles move quickly. Funding systems must keep pace.

Call to Action

Nationwide Advance New York invites business owners, lenders, and community leaders to take the “Close the Timing Gap” Pledge.

Start with one action today. Organize your numbers. Map your revenue cycle. Plan before urgency.

Then share the toolkit with another business owner.

Momentum depends on timing. Timing depends on preparation.

About Nationwide Advance New York

XLOV, the “First Genderless Idol Group in K-POP,” Proves Global Influence with ‘Global Hallyu Entertainment Award’ Win

Rising to attention with a unique concept that breaks the conventional boundaries of K-POP, four-member multinational boy group XLOV has officially been recognized for its growing global influence.

XLOV (WUMUTI, RUI, HYUN, and HARU) received the “K-POP Global Hallyu Entertainment Award” at the 6th Korea Hallyu Entertainment Awards, held on May 23 at the National Assembly Members’ Office Building in Seoul.

Debuting in January 2025 under 257 Entertainment and WM Entertainment, XLOV is recognized as the first Korean idol group to pursue a “genderless” concept. The group’s message of genderlessness encourages people to break free from social prejudice and standardized norms, while embracing their own definition of beauty and discovering their authentic selves. The group name itself combines “X,” symbolizing the unknown, and “LOV,” representing incomplete love, reflecting the group’s ambition to create their own undefined and unique identity.

Recently, XLOV heightened anticipation for their comeback by unveiling the music video teaser for “SERVE,” the title track of their first mini album. The teaser gained additional attention with actress Han So-hee making a special appearance. Featuring XLOV’s signature groovy bass sound alongside striking voguing-inspired performances, the comeback is already drawing excitement from their global fandom “EVOL” as well as music fans around the world.

The Knight Who Learned to Share His Heart by Dwight A. Scarbrough-Grant is a poignant children’s book that explores the themes of vulnerability, empathy, and the power of human connection. A former military veteran, Dwight weaves his personal experiences into a story that transcends the battlefield and explores the emotional armor we all build to protect ourselves from pain and change.

After 22 years of military service, Scarbrough-Grant found himself at a crossroads, facing retirement and divorce. This profound shift led him to a transformative journey, not one of external battles, but an internal fight with vulnerability, acceptance, and resilience. The knight, once clad in metaphorical armor, learns that true strength is found in embracing one’s emotions and supporting others.

Through his move to North Carolina and his work as a camp counselor at a therapeutic center, the knight encounters young people struggling with their own battles, teaching him the power of empathy, forgiveness, and the importance of rebuilding one’s life after hardship.

With The Knight Who Learned to Share His Heart, Dwight A. Scarbrough-Grant invites readers to explore the healing power of opening up, finding strength in vulnerability, and supporting each other.
