About the author:
Born of immigrant parents from the province of Thessaly in Greece, homeland of Homer’s Achilles, it was inevitable that one day Dr. James George Brianas, a.k.a “Annapolis’ Indiana Jones,” would one day search for the illusive palace site of that Trojan War hero. He was educated in Architecture and Psychology at the University of Florida, attended George Washington University, and received a doctorate in Leadership and Management from Loughborough University in England. While based in the Middle East with a multinational corporation, his travels took him from the deserts of Saudi Arabia, the pyramids of Egypt, Jordan’s Petra, Cyprus, Turkey, Greece, and Western Europe. A fortuitous visit to Troy in 1999 piqued his interest in the Trojan War, and after 20 years of archaeological research in Greece and Turkey the results are written in this book.
