On December 1, 2021, at the annual ACCESS Conference, the Experiential Designers and Producers Association (EDPA) formally presented Hamilton with the distinguished EDDIE award for best marketplace pivot.
In the first quarter of 2020, after most of their scheduled industry bookings were shut down, Hamilton pivoted its traditional service offerings to design and build solutions to help schools and businesses safely stay open. Then when the Indiana Department of Health issued a call for service, Hamilton stepped up, organized, and created a complex, efficient platform capable of delivering more than 200,000 vaccines. Hamilton planned and supported multiple Indiana mass vaccination and mobile vaccine sites at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the University of Notre Dame, Gary (a FEMA site), the IVY Tech campus in Sellersburg, and several mobile sites that traveled across Indiana.
With the signature, “whatever it takes,” motto and deep experience, Hamilton prepositioned assets to meet tight deadlines, battled inclement weather, navigated numerous supply chain issues to build, and utilized their traditional high-end event management strategies to ensure strict protocols related to vaccine storage and handling were maintained.
Today as the event industry reignites, Hamilton is refocused on traditional service offerings of immersive brand experiences. Continuing with the successful experience supporting governmental vaccine operations, Hamilton is enhancing a line of services in the specialty Government and NGO marketplace.
