NFT Queen™ Karen Bystedt to Drop Second Little Andy World NFT

Los Angeles – Karen Bystedt, the NFT Queen™ and internationally renowned artist best known for photographs she took of Andy Warhol in 1983 & collaborations she has done with other artists (such as Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, and more), dropped her first NFT titled LITTLE ANDY WORLD COMIC STRIP on February 4 and will release the second NFT LITTLE ANDY on Feb 28that www.ownerfy.com/littleandy. LITTLE ANDY was inspired by the creative freedom from Bystedt’s experience with Andy Warhol and the inclusivity with all the different artists she collaborated with for The Lost Warhols.

The series of NFT’s will incorporate “LITTLE ANDY” a digital character with hand-drawn elements created by Bystedt and her team. Bystedt worked creatively with Ador, a creative consultation & strategy firm, and Mark Savage to flesh out the comic strip. The LITTLE ANDY NFT’s will be available on Ownerfy.com; who recently fully sold out two top NFT Collections, J. Pierce & Friends and CitizenZ. The first NFT drop (Feb 4), LITTLE ANDY WORLD COMIC STRIP NFT, features 1111 first editions and serve as a passkey to buying a generative Little Andy collectible NFT for the second drop. LITTLE ANDY has been in development for the last four years and is finally ready for launch. LITTLE ANDY is an inclusive character that loves everyone without judgment and is curious about life and people regardless of where they come from. He lives through love and curiosity, and you join him on his adventures through the Metaverse. After recognizing the power of this future art form, NFT’s, and the use of Blockchain in the Metaverse, Bystedt is excited to drop her LITTLE ANDY WORLD NFT’s. “LITTLE ANDY is ejected from the Metaverse into the universe to reveal our unexpected commonalities. He is an NFT baby born into this new post-pandemic Blade Runner world who sees each person he meets on his adventures as interesting, whether he’s hanging in Compton with a new friend or at the Royal Palace in Monaco with Prince Albert.” says Bystedt. Each LITTLE ANDY is hand-drawn with great accessories (i.e., artworks, bitcoin, computer, walkman, skateboards. surfboards, cameras).

Bystedt is best known for a photo sitting granted by Andy Warhol for the book project she was working on before his death titled “Not Just Another Pretty Face.” After losing her negatives for over 20 years, in 2011, she found 10 of them in a corrugated cardboard box. Bystedt then created THE LOST WARHOLS collection transforming Andy Warhol into “the art,” inviting contemporary street and fine artists to paint on top of her images. THE LOST WARHOLS have traveled worldwide, including NYC, Switzerland, Ireland, and Portugal. The original photographs now live in the permanent collections of The Warhol Museum, Hearst Foundation, Cedar Sinai Foundation, Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, and Prince Albert of Monaco’s private collection.

ABOUT KAREN BYSTEDT:

Bystedt, known for her relationship with Andy Warhol, is the artist behind THE LOST WARHOLS negatives, which inspired THE LOST WARHOLS collection. In 1983, Bystedt enrolled some of the top male models, including Andy Warhol, in her project Not Just Another Pretty Face. The sitting was a defining moment for Bystedt. Andy Warhol attended her book party, which was a success. Between 1987 and 1993, Karen’s path led her to interview and photograph unknown actors: Brad Pitt, Courtney Cox, Sandra Bullock, Johnny Depp, Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburn, Laura Dern, Jared Leto. The result was her 1996 book Before They Were Famous: In Their Own Words. Culminating, Bystedt created the defining montage of Andy Warhol photographs in 2013. Most recently, Bystedt’s image of Andy Warhol from that famous sitting holding the American flag may be seen in Harper Collins, definitive Biopic by Blake Gopnik “WARHOL” 2021. In addition, her images are in the permanent collections of the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, Hearst Foundation, Cedar Sinai, God’s Love We Deliver, and The Warhol Museum. This collection is a precursor to KB, the NFT Queen metaverse experience! Collect, win, have fun enjoying these delightful creations on-chain. In 2019, Bystedt opened THE LOST WARHOLS Gallery at The Beverly Center, which she curates to celebrate the diverse and creative spirit of Los Angeles- URBAN LUXURY FINE ART.

About The Lost Worlds:

THE LOST WARHOLS live as a testament to the intrinsic value of eclecticism in visual perspective, honoring individuality in interpretation, allowing the self to shine in position as part of a greater whole, as Warhol once did, and forever will, in Bystedt’s collection. Bystedt has created a series that follows in Warhol’s footsteps, playing with popular culture; the collection champions the unique signatures of her collaborators and encourages its audience to consider their own understanding of its central subject – a man captured by a woman; two unique artists, both fascinated by beauty, and determined to stir an evaluation of its ever-changing parameters and visual associations. The work thereby provides the world with a new lens with which to examine the legacy of Andy Warhol and re-evaluate the aesthetic ideal, thus challenging the modes in which it may be measured and questioning its intrinsic value itself. Karen Bystedt celebrated the drop of her first NFT, LITTLE ANDY WORLD COMIC STRIP NFT on February 4, 2022 available at www.ownerfy.com NFTs may be purchased with a Etherium or credit card. An event will be held for the drop at THE LOST WARHOLS Gallery at Beverly Center on 7.
