All the way from Mumbai, India, actor Ranveer Singh participated in the NBA All Star Celebrity Game. The Ruffles NBA-All Star Celebrity Game was showcased LIVE in India on February 19th which had a skyrocketed amount of viewers despite it being at 5:30 AM. Along with Ranveer Singh were celebrities such as Machine Gun Kelly, Matt James, Elhadji Tacko Fall, Jimmie Allen and others. Ranveer Singh, said, “I have been following basketball since my childhood and playing keenly since my teens; it is a life-enhancing sport that has developed a righteous sportsman’s spirit within me which has helped me tremendously in my career and personal life as well. It is an absolute honor to participate in the NBA All-stars Celebrity Game and I am grateful for this opportunity, I look forward to living my dream.”
Ranveer wrote on Instagram, “Ball is life @nba @cavs @nbaindia @nbastyle_in #NBAAllStar #Nba75 #RanveerXNBAAllStar.” He also shared a photo from the basketball court in which he was seen in a conversation with player Tacko Fall. Along with the photo, he wrote, “Got some pre-match pro-tips from none other than my man mister Tacko Fall himself.”
Courtside tickets are almost impossible to land unless you are invited by the NBA or willing to pay big bucks. Sitting courtside was none other than elite South Asians: Billionaire Vivek Ranadive (@vivek), owner of the Sacramento Kings and Founder of Bow Capital; Ronnie 2K (@ronnie2k), successful YouTuber and face of NBA 2k; and multi-millionaire Anip Patel (@anippatel90), social media personality and Tech Entrepreneur.
Also in attendance at the game was Ranveer Singh’s Entourage Susan Rodriques who is the manager of Ranveer Singh. Ranveers personal makeup artist Mahadev Naik. Ranveers personal Barber Darshan Yewalekar. Ranveers Photographer Rohan Shrestha His mother Anju Bhavnani & cousins who flew in from NY to support their cousin Ranveer play.
The arena was filled with bollywood fans all over the arena. Ranveer tried to get as many fans as he could and even danced to famous Bollywood songs — Aapna Time Ayega & Malhari — with all fans!
