Marc Zboch Academic Scholarship Announces That 2023 Applications are Open

Applications for the Marc Zboch Academic Scholarship are now being accepted for the third consecutive year.

Daytona, FL – March 16, 2022 – Applications for the 2023-24 Marc Zboch Academic Scholarship are open for current U.S. college and university students who are registered for the 2023 academic year. The third annual scholarship is intended to foster public service and is targeted toward students from all backgrounds who are serious about giving back to their communities.

The scholarship is in the generous amount of $1,000, which will be applied directly to the winner’s tuition at a qualified college or university.

While higher education pays off in later life, it can be expensive and out of some students’ reach. Applying for private scholarships can help to reduce the burden of student debt and ensure future success.

How to Apply

In order to apply, students must be U.S. residents who are studying at a U.S.-based school. They may apply regardless of their major, GPA, socioeconomic status, and eventual career goals. The scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students from all backgrounds.

For the 2023 Marc Zboch scholarship, students will be required to write a 400 to 500-word essay with the following prompt: “Describe a time when you made sacrifices to help others.” This prompt encourages students to look at their lives through the lens of public service.

The ideal applicant for this scholarship will be able to answer the prompt fully and in an articulate manner. The student will be encouraged to make connections between their academic career and their desire to make the world a better place.

About the Scholarship

This is the third year that the Marc Zboch scholarship has been offered. In 2021, Tiffany Eneumo from the University of Houston was the winner. In 2022, Lorenzo Cinalli from The George Washington University received the scholarship. These deserving students are excellent examples to their peers.

Students who have been successful in applying for the Marc Zboch scholarship have approached public service in creative ways. Applicants who want to succeed in receiving the $1,000 award should take the time to examine their activities and motivations.
