It is looking like “SHIBA LAS VEGAS” for the SHIB community with the first ever SHIBAcon event set to be held in Las Vegas later this Summer. SHIB holders may finally get the chance to meet face-to-face later this year, with a Shiba Con event scheduled to take place around the Las Vegas strip in Mid-September. The event is being planned by several Shiba Inu holders, with the goal of fulfilling a proposal first made by Ryoshi in 2021.
The Shiba Inu ecosystem remains one of the biggest in the blockchain space, practically charting a new course daily with a wide range of features and functionalities. Organizers of SHIBAcon are attempting to bring together the different aspects of the ecosystem, including the upcoming Shiba Inu games, digital real estate, fashion, and even an Italian fast-food chain partner known as Wellys.
The event is looking to create more awareness about the project, with plans to include high profile panel discussions, live musical performances, and digital art in the form of commemorative NFTs. The event is also said to feature a “Wen Lambo” exotic car driving experience, a massive Shiba Inu token burn, and the possibility of a ‘Shiba Charity Fashion Show’ from newly endorsed and acclaimed British fashion designer, John Richmond. Described as part-festival, the event will be held at a yet-to-be-disclosed Las Vegas resort. The team behind SHIBAcon has also stated they plan on helping other fellow holders create similar fun meetups in other parts of the world. “While we can’t speak for Ryoshi, we believe every corner of the world should get together and celebrate the amazing power of the SHIB Community.
This is our time, our community, and we hope to see you here in Las Vegas for this once in a lifetime event and journey to the Moon.” It is worth noting that no official statement has been issued by Shibu Inu yet. However, the founder of Shiba Inu Coin, Ryohsi, early indicated the possibility of having such an event, stating that it would be a way for local SHIB holders to meet, celebrate, and collaborate, before it expands into other parts of the world. Ticket dates for SHIBACon are yet to be announced, however, a team member said “I suspect this event will be a powerful moment for the entire Shib Community, and we’re confident the world is going to have to start paying more attention to what this Army is really capable of.”
