Seoul – June 3, 2022 – RSQUARE (CEO: Lee John Woo), the professional commercial real estate data company in Korea officially initiates its business after completing collection of over 65,000 databases in Singapore. RSQUARE is a no.1 proptech startup in terms of revenue in the Republic of Korea and it offers an one-stop solution for commercial real estate based on an offline lessor-lessee matching platform, data analytics, purchase and sales consultation, among others, with more than 160,000 databases in Korea.
According to the real estate industry, RSQAURE’s recent collection of over 65k commercial real property databases is based on an implementation of a complete enumeration survey on principal districts of Singapore for office, commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. As shown in RSQUARE’s strategy in Korea, the Company is building its foundation in Singapore by completing its database construction first.
An industry official mentioned that “the personnel of RSQUARE who was in charge of the complete enumeration survey on the real estate in Vietnam personally visited Singapore to secure both quantitative and non-quantitative data and performed the survey with a high emphasis on data accuracy” and added that “they already verified information such as proprietor, personnel in charge of a lease, vacancy status, list of leasing corporations by building, etc., coupled with the location, number of floors, area, year of completion, etc.”
The Company official expressed that “Singapore is a place where global corporations establish their ‘bases’ for the entire Asian market and of course, our overseas corporation ‘RSQUARE SG’ will also become an advance base for the Pan Asian Commercial Real Property Business Strategy” and that “we will expand to six major Asian countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, and others by beginning from Singapore and Vietnam, and strengthen our leading position as a pan Asian one-stop solution provider for commercial real estate”.
As RSQUARE is expanding its businesses in Southeast Asian markets, it established a subsidiary in Vietnam last year. With its presence in Vietnam, RSQUARE updates and delivers the vacancy status information of commercial real estate of Vietnam based on approximately 50,000 databases to its customers once every month, and offers consultation services for corporations planning to expand to Vietnam. RSQUARE agreed to provide commercial real property information to Shinhan Bank Vietnam and is also in cooperation with overseas offices of principal local governments. The Company is supporting domestic corporations to open and expand inroads into the Vietnamese market.
The Company signed an exclusive contract on parcel out and lease of factory-warehouse with the KCN Vietnam, a local real property development corporation. RSQUARE is also participating in the Star Lake City Complex Development Project led and developed by Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd., in Hanoi, Vietnam.
