Heard of the term? or understand the meaning? people are the result of themselves beliefs, behaviours, values and habits right up until this point in life. And if that’s not where people wanted to be, then something needs to change. Period.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. Yet so many people are just like individuals on the hamster wheel of life. Working ones butt off, but getting nowhere fast financially. Juggling so many tasks and responsibilities, yet getting nowhere further in one’s career. Reading books and listening to self-help books, yet getting nowhere further ahead in one’s personal development journey.
All this is determined by the individual’s ENVIRONMENT and proximity. WHO are the people spending one’s time with? WHO are the people listening to for advice? WHO are the people living with and are these people giving to or taking from one’s soul?
Everything in an individual’s environment influences how one’s neurological system functions, which in turn influences one’s beliefs, values, habits, and behaviours.
Living in a war-torn country, concerns are going to be about survival, shelter and safety. Individuals are hardly going to be concerned about career and growth when trying to stay alive.
Spending 8 hours a day at a hatred job, these hardly going to be in a fabulous mood around loved ones when finally return home.
So people spending time with matters. If those people or the places spending most of the time are sucking the life out of oneself, changing is very important. Fast. Otherwise one’s nervous system, neurology adapts to the environment and will continue to behave in order to fit the environment.
Cared for changing of life? Great! Changing of environment is important! Or at least the people in the environment. Surround yourself with the people who light each other up, lift each other up, share dreams and who encourage each other to be the best. Negative Nancys and those with Tall Poppy Syndrome need to be removed from one’s environment quickly, or individual will surely adapt to the traits!
Hire a coach or mentor, learn how to reprogram one’s beliefs, attitudes, and behaviours, and change how one thinks or thinks about things. Heal the past traumas so to stop reliving. Forgive yourself, forgive others and learn from the past. Changing of environment and the proximity in life is so power!
