A Global music IP NFT platform, MetaBeat, signs strategic alliance with leading K-POP entertainment companies

Global music IP NFT platform, MetaBeat, announced on the 13th that it has signed strategic partnerships with nine companies including RBW, Woori-net, Content X, Studio Jamm, WM Entertainment, DSP Media, TR Entertainment, Beats Entertainment, and J Storm. 

Through this partnership, MetaBeat is conducting marketing and promotion efforts to strengthen global fandoms based on K-POP music content IP. Additionally, MetaBeat will release NFT based on music content IP of domestic artists, such as Mamamoo and ONEUS, on its global platform in August.

RBW, together with its affiliate labels, WM Entertainment and DSP Media, plans to support the MetaBeat service based on IP of more than 4,000 music contents.

In addition, with this strategic partner, Content X will be creating new revenues through various tangible and intangible assets of K-POP, such as portrait rights, broadcasting, and performances, beyond distribution of music content IP. In this process, they plan to build a foundation to support the K-POP industry with various reward programs.

MetaBeat uses blockchain technology to distribute music content IP in the form of NFTs. The purpose is to maximize the value of the artist’s creations together with the fandom that has led popular culture.
