About the Author:

Muscadin Jean-Yves Jason is a historian, archivist, and researcher in political sociology. At the age of 59, he has had a remarkable career in both the public and private sectors, marked by notable commitments, notably serving as the elected Mayor of Port-au-Prince from 2007 to 2012. Previously, among other roles, from 1985 to 1995, he held the position of technical manager of historical archives at the National Archives of Haiti, and then from 1995 to 1998, that of chief of staff to Mayor Joseph Emmanuel Charlemagne. Specialized in digital entrepreneurship, he founded Kritik Productions in 1999-2000. From 2001 to 2006, he served as the national coordinator of the Rally of Patriotic Citizens (RCP), a political party founded by advocates of participatory democracy in Haiti in 1999. Currently, he is the executive director of Citizens Without Borders (CSF), an institution dedicated to risk prevention and disaster management in Haiti. He is part of the steering committee of the Allo 2054 Foundation and also provides services in quantum & energy therapy.
