Safi Ignites Black Creativity: A Marketplace Empowering Entrepreneurs and Transforming Dreams into Reality

Philadelphia, PA – Safi, the groundbreaking online marketplace dedicated to black entrepreneurs, aims to empower and uplift black creators in achieving their business dreams.  Safi’s curated platform showcases diverse products, spanning fashion, accessories, food and drink, home and living, celebrations, body and beauty, and kids and baby items, connecting black entrepreneurs to a broader audience.

“We’re firm believers in the extraordinary power of black creativity, and our commitment is to provide a stage where black creators can share their unique talents with the world,” states a Safi spokesperson.

Safi aspires to be recognized as a true Black-Owned Creative Marketplace, akin to a black-owned Etsy. While platforms like Target, Etsy, and Amazon offer a marketplace for various vendors, Safi Marketplace stands apart. Safi is a minority-owned business with a singular mission: to empower Black entrepreneurs and cultivate a thriving ecosystem for Black-owned brands.

Safi’s primary goal is to empower black creators by offering a range of resources and services. This includes a curated marketplace for selling products and services, marketing and advertising support for broader exposure, and business development workshops and networking opportunities to foster growth.

The spokesperson emphasizes, “Black-owned businesses represent less than 3% of all businesses in America. Over the years, black entrepreneurs have faced systemic challenges and disparities. Creating exclusive opportunities and marketplaces is not just beneficial for black entrepreneurs; it’s crucial for the entire community.”

Founded by three dynamic black women and moms, Erin Coleman, Jessica Johnson, and April Williams, Safi brings diverse expertise in finance, entrepreneurship, marketing, social media, communication, organizational leadership, and business. The trio leverages their influence to launch, connect, and support black-owned businesses, creating a bridge between these businesses and a broad consumer base.

“We extend an invitation to join us in building a more equitable world where black creators can flourish,” urges the spokesperson. “When you shop at Safi, you’re supporting black creators and their businesses. Spread the word about Safi to friends and family, helping us reach more people. If you’re a black creator, consider applying to be part of our marketplace.”
