Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts Is Looking to Lead the Industry in Producing the Top MMA Fighters of this Generation

Training to become a top mixed martial arts (MMA) professional athlete takes more than just grit and discipline. It also necessitates training in the right place with the right group of people who are committed to making things happen. Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts, New York’s leading MMA training ground today, is home to some of the most promising athletes this generation has ever seen, and it is expanding its reach from New York to South Florida to identify more gifted fighters.

Established in 2008 by former Wall Street broker Terry Gold, Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts  Head coach has  invited some of the best coaches available in the industry to train athletes who are determined to make a name for themselves in the MMA world. Anyone who wishes to become an excellent MMA fighter or train like one is welcome to come down .

“I hired experts in all the fields that I needed, such as a Brazilian jiu-jitsu coach and striking coach. In the beginning, the focus was to build hard-core fighters, but now we are very family-oriented. We start teaching children as young as four years old. This program is great for self-defense as well as discipline and focus. We also have an amateur and professional fight team,” Terry explained.

The fitness program for kids is highly recommended for ages 4 to 7 years old. The younger they begin, the earlier they will acquire discipline in their body and mind. It is also designed to boost the confidence of children and help them focus. The junior warrior program is designed for those between the ages of 8 and 12. It places emphasis on striking and grappling techniques, making them more than able to defend themselves should they have a need for it in the future. This class teaches basic boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and fitness.

Additionally, Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts also specializes in teaching a kickboxing program for women, whether they want to fight professionally or simply want to lose weight or stay fit. The program is a one-of-a-kind initiative that aims to empower women to be confident, and strong. Women get to experience kickboxing for what it truly is – a lot of punching and kicking 100 to 125-pound bags. Most fitness gyms train women to just punch thin air. But at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts, they get to punch the real deal.

Terry Gold is one of the most respected names in the MMA industry. He has been known to bring in some of the best talent in the world for his students. The list includes: Nate Diaz, Nick Diaz, Luke Rockhold, Chris Weidman, among many others. To have Athletes and fighters of that caliber sharing their knowledge is priceless.

At present, Terry is focusing his efforts on expanding all the way to South Florida, where he can be expected to find more promising athletes who would want to train under him. If anything, Terry has opened special doors of opportunity for the athletes who train in his gym, giving them hope and the confidence that they can pursue their dream to fight in a UFC  in the future.
