The Profs have been recognised for their outstanding achievements in the tutoring industry, winning Best Tuition Business for Customer Service and Tuition Business of the Year at the National Tutoring Awards 2022!
The Profs, a tuition company that facilitates top-quality tutoring for students ranging from GCSE to postgraduate-level, has been named the winner of both Best Tuition Business for Customer Service and Tuition Business of the Year at the 2022 National Tutoring Awards.
The Best Tuition Business for Customer Service award showcases The Profs’ longstanding commitment to high-quality customer service and student satisfaction. The company recently celebrated being the UK’s highest-rated tuition company on TrustPilot for the seventh year running, with a score of 4.9 out of 5 based on more than 1,200 reviews on the site.
The Profs have also achieved some astounding results for their students. 81% of their students achieved a grade increase in their final examinations thanks to working with a tutor and, unbelievably, 97% of their students get into their first or second choice university thanks to their admissions programmes. The Profs’ Oxbridge acceptance rate is also more than three times the national average at 55%.
The company also took home the coveted Best Tuition Business award, which considers a range of factors including commitment to student achievement, tutor support, and safeguarding, support for disadvantaged students, and collaboration across the tutoring sector. This award recognised one of The Profs’ central missions: to prove that professional tutoring is the best tool to combat educational inequality in the UK. Their partnership with Cambridge University has helped more than 100 underprivileged students matriculate into Oxbridge, while their work with The Access Project helped to create and deliver interactive university preparation and study skills webinars to over 300 students.
The Profs’ Founder, Richard Evans, has also dedicated his career to bringing the tuition industry closer together. He has been instrumental in many of the industry’s biggest collaborations, including Love Tutoring Festival and The Crunch. His outstanding impact on disadvantaged students and his 100% positive feedback rate have led to him being consistently ranked #1 of 1,000 tutors in the UK’s highest-rated network.
Other award winners from The Profs’ network include Tormod Sund, who won Best University-Level Tutor, Keely Jo Frasca, who took home Best Online Tutor, and Claire Chivers, who won Best Secondary Tutor.
