From September 24-25, 2022 (Pacific Time), the semi-final of 2022 “Chuangxiang China” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was successfully held in Silicon Valley, together with Overseas Division Investment Meeting.
This year is the sixth year that the overseas division of the “Chuangxiang China” Anhui Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been held. Over the past six years, more than 1,500 overseas projects/companies have signed up for the competition, 150 overseas projects have won awards, and 81 overseas projects have landed in Anhui.
This year, the number of participating projects and the coverage of overseas competition areas have further increased and expanded, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Portugal, Hungary, Switzerland, Israel, Australia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, India, Dubai, Egypt, Nigeria, etc. A total of 243 high-tech projects all over the world have signed up for the competition. The participating areas cover North America, Europe, Israel, Asia, Australia and other major countries and regions. The participating projects cover the top ten emerging industries in Anhui, with more prominent scientific and technological attributes, strong innovation, high technical barriers, and broad market prospects.
On the opening ceremony, Mr. Brad Sharp delivered a speech on behalf of the third prize-winning project of the 2020 “Chuangxiang China” Anhui Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Overseas Division, and shared the story of Integrated Endoscopy and the “Chuangxiang China” competition. In his speech, Mr. Brad thanked “Chuangxiang China” for allowing more overseas project parties to understand China and Anhui, and building a bridge for international development.

The Semi-final of Overseas Competition has conducted in the form of “online + offline” and “Double Venue in China and US”. 10 expert judges from Silicon Valley and listed companies in the United States participated in the review, and invited American law firms to witness the competition. The 30 participating companies that entered the semi-finals competed fiercely, and finally 20 projects stood out.

At 6:00 pm on September 25th, Pacific Time (9:00 am on September 26th, Beijing time), 2022 “Chuangxiang China” Anhui Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Overseas Project Investment Meeting was successfully held in Silicon Valley and Hefei, Anhui.
The matchmaking meeting was hosted by Anhui Zhongan Chuanggu Science and Technology Park. The venue in Silicon Valley invited representatives of winners and participating projects of this competition, expert judges, experts of listed companies, representatives of entrepreneurs, and investors. The venue in Hefei invited the representatives of many investment institutions in Anhui Province. Also, there are representatives of overseas projects attended the meeting online.

During the event, Jingying Chen, on behalf of the competition organizer Zhongan Chuanggu Company, congratulated the representatives of overseas award-winning projects, and warmly welcomed overseas projects to expand their business in Hefei and Anhui. Then, Innoval Capital and Hefei Hi-tech VC introduced their investment logic and direction in the overseas projects.
